You get what you pay for here. The room was ok, some what clean, although we had to turn in one bed spread and blanket right away as they were obviously "used" . Don't know why maids don't see those big stains but its pretty disgusting for the next person... Hotel was surprisingly quiet, even from the highway noises. Getting in and especially out of the hotel drive is a real challenge in both driving skills and patience. NO BEDBUGS!!! - this is a big issue now a days!!

Quiet, Clean, Away from Tourist Traps
We had a very easy time checking in. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful. We even decided to extend our stay for one day and had no problem doing so. We liked the hotel because it wasn't surrounded by so many tourist attractions or loud resorts. Great stay for the price.

Sightseeing tip:
Not Applicable
About an hour's drive to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Take the Gatlinburg Bypass out of Pigeon Forge to avoid the bumper-to-bumper traffic of Gatlinburg. You get some great scenic views of the mountains and don't have to negotiate a very busy tourist town.

cracker barrel in sevierville and kodak are both good, also olive garden is great and fuddruckers is too, one dining place that is real good in p. forge is the patridge and the pear, if you love Christmas (I DO) go there to eat and shop at the Christmas Place and have a good time
