Knoxville hotel in World's Fair Park adjacent to the convention center
The Holiday Inn Knoxville - Downtown is located in World's Fair Park just 25 steps from the Knoxville Convention Center and within walking distance to the Knoxville Museum of Art and the University of Tennessee. Contemporary rooms are bright and cheery with red or green accents, work desk and flat-screen television. A lobby-level restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and kids under 12 eat free. Eight meeting rooms and free Internet access take care of business, while an indoor pool covers pleasure.

Good location

The hotel is a couple blocks from the market district and Gay street: good restaurants and nice people. It is a very nice area.

Not Bad

We were staying in town for a wedding. The location was the best part. Overall I would say the hotel is on par with what one would expect from Holiday Inn. Room was kept clean, but for the price it wasn't very fancy.

Great location and price!

Room was really clean and great location. Walking distance to all the restaurants and bars, worth the cost and would go back again! Staff was really friendly.

Great for UT events

The front desk staff was great. Took time to chat with us about what to see and what to stay away from. Shuttle only goes three miles but still better than a cab everywhere. Super close to market square, gay street, and the UT campus. Rooms were spacious and comfy

Go Vols!

Smoke when I paid for no-smoking

I paid for a non smoking room but was told the hotel was full and since I booked with [...] I had to stay in a smoking room!!!

Great Hotel

We spent the 4th of July in the 1982 World's Fair Park. It was a wonderful celebration: food, music, the Knoxville Synphony and fireworks. It was great.

Very Nice

This hotel was great, it was walking distance to Neyalnd Stadium. Very Friendly Staff. The rooms were nice, but I guess that's what you have to pay to get walking distance to the game.
