Great for the money
[...] My husband travels quite extensively and stated, "I would love to find a room this nice, for the price." The hotel is located in an area that we did not feel unsafe and is convenient to restaurant's, shopping and other entertainment. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay at this location again.

Smoke-sensitive individuals beware!
The front desk service was courteous and quick. When we got to our room (a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor, supposedly), it appeared very clean and orderly but smelled strongly of smoke. We called the front desk operator, who assured me the room is and always has been non-smoking. He claimed that the smoke from the 3rd floor could sometimes travel through the vents to the 2nd floor, where we were staying. He said he couldn't transfer us to another room because the hotel was completely full. That night I was coughing and had trouble breathing due to the smokiness of the room. Other than that, the hotel was fine. I just thought that those who are sensitive to smoke should be aware of this.

Great Value
I stayed for several days at the Knoxville Candlewood Suites while visiting family in the area. I chose Candlewood because I have dietary restrictions and needed to cook my own food and have a supply of special food on hand. The kitchenette with full-sized fridge was perfect for this. There's nothing fancy about Candlewood, but it's a great value if you need simple, clean accomodations and if you need to have access to something other than restaurants for food. Also, the staff were great - very friendly and accommodating. Overall, the stay was great and I'd go there again.

Not fantastic, not bad either
For the price we paid, there are no real complaints....just the usual noisy A/C and Fridge. As usual, we asked for a room farthest away from the front and/or elevator. The room was clean enough, but pretty basic. Staff we met were polite and friendly. Close to major highway, but far enough away to not be affected by traffic noise. I thought the bed was extremely firm and found it difficult to sleep, but my wife thought it was good! C'est la vie. Would love to find a hotel that is reasonably priced and quiet. It seems to be a combination that's extremely hard to find.

Good
I attended a wedding. The room was a good size for me. I stayed on the second floor and the window opened a bit to let the fresh air in. I didn't have any problems except the ants and next door someone hadn't turned off the alarm clock before checking out...rude awakening

Great value with convenient location
This hotel overall was efficient and friendly. The room was well suited for our stay. We had a small kitchenette area and dining area for my laptop. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. They provided a nice barbeque for us one evening. Would go back for a return visit. Was in a modern location next to everything.
