Just ten minutes from downtown Knoxville and with easy access to restaurants and attractions, were conveniently located but still far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown so that guests can relax. With easy on/off interstate access, our Knoxville hotel puts the comfort of guests first. University of Tennessee football is a big reason why many of our guests choose our Knoxville hotel. However, the Knoxville Zoo is a must when visiting the area. From the head of the Tennessee River to outdoor Knoxville where hiking trails, kayaking and biking reign supreme, the possibilities are endless. Business travelers often choose our Knoxville hotel because of the convenience and quiet rooms. Some of our frequent guests include employees of Oak Ridge National Labs, the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Defense (DOD), Scripps, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), and Jewelry Television. Even if youre here for business, its easy to squeeze in some time for a visit to the Alex Haley Farm, the Museum of Appalachia, or the Mabry Hazen House. Plan a trip to the American Museum of Science and Energy, East Tennessee Historical Society, take in a womens basketball game or visit James Whites Fort. The history and culture is rich here. Dirty floors

My 10 month old was crawling on the carpet in the room and in a matter of minutes his hands, knees, and the tips of his feet were filthy with dirt. I doubt they have ever cleaned their carpeting. Staff was nice.

Last minute trip

We had to travel to the Knoxville area to take care of some unexpected business. The hotel was in a perfect location for us to get to and from where we needed to be in a timely manner, and in an area where there were plenty of restaurants to choose from each evening. The hotel was clean, and the staff very personable and attentive. We would stay there again in the future.

basic for business

location was handy for my needs (week long business trip) but rooms can be rather noisy from the adjacent highway which is very busy. Rooms are large, comfortable and well appointed with a sensible size desk. Only real quibble was breakfast - very limited choice available and cramped room where it was served.

relaxing weekend getaway

Check in was a breeze with helpful tips for the area from the front desk. Breakfast was alot better than most of its kind with fresh hot food and clean and tidy facilities. The staff manning the area were very pleasant. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. You would almost think you were there by yourself except for a faint sound occasinally of running water. Will be here again when we are in the area. The location was not central to Knoxville itself, on the fringe, but very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go since the highway system is right there. We went to the Museum of the Applachias in Norris, TN. Wonderful experience and very glad we came upon it. If you enjoy Foxfire Books regarding mountain and country culture you will love this. Also, antiquing in this area is very good, alot of variety in Norris, Clinton, etc. We will be coming back to go to more of the shops and to sightsee inside Knoxville itself. So much history, architecture, and quaint shops to see.
