Wish we could have stayed longer!
We were visiting family over Thanksgiving and needed a place to stay. We enjoyed our stay at Best Western very much. The beds were very comfortable, with a nice downy comforter as a blanket. The indoor pool looked very inviting, but we just didn't have enough time to swim in it! We would have loved to stay another day to enjoy this hotel further. The hotel was also very convenient to numerous restaurts and shopping. We would definately stay here again.

There is an awesome restaurant right across the street call Puleo's Grille. We didn't have time to visit this one, but have tried this restaurant in other locations in Knoxville and enjoyed each time we went. Had it not been Thanksgiving, we would have eatent there for sure! Try it!

Good fit for our needs
Pretty good for the price. Pool was small and indoor but we had it pretty much to ourselves. Hotel conveniently located close to interstate and to several restaurants and a Starbucks. Quiet and easy to find.

Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Location was walking distance to restaurants and grocery store. Also room were a good size and close to Univ TN campus. Issue with bathtub drain and door jammed.

Mixed bag
We stayed in handicap accessible room; guess that's all they had. We did not request it. Missed having a bathtub. The shower was poorly lit and had filthy floor and mildewed grout. Bathroom floor was dirty. There was so much humidity in room that the linens were damp and so was our clothing in the morning. Sofa bed was rickety and mattress had had it. There were no pillows for it. On the plus side, night manager was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was better than many places we've stayed. There was a waffle maker, eggs, and sausage in addition to the usual cold fare (bagels, muffins, cereal). It is conveniently located about 4 miles from downtown Knoxville and the University of Tennessee. It was priced about half as much as hotels in the downtown area.

Puleo's has extensive menu featuring Italian style and southern style cuisine. Most items cost under $15 for full meal, and they offered sandwiches and pizza as well. Our favorites were maple glazed pork chops over apple coulis and the homemade apple walnut pie. Service was friendly and attentive.

Concert Queen
Great Hotel for a Great Price
This hotel was booked for a "girl's out concert night". The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was large and very clean. The hotel is in an excellant location, close to gas stations, numerous resturants,etc. We would absolutely stay here again! Great for the price!

Pass on this hotel...
Walked in to a room that was easily 85 degrees! The controls on the AC were impossible to get right. Plus fan was loud as heck. Internet connection was slower than dial-up. Provided conditioner and shower cap, but no shampoo or lotion. Bed was comfortable, about all I can say.

We made a quick two-day visit to Knoxville to visit relatives. We travel a lot---and---I am not fond of staying in hotels. However, after saying that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget who wants to stay at a decent place that doesn't overcharge, underperform and under clean. I researched hotels in the Knoxville area---and---looked at all the reviews online.This hotel is worth the money---and then some. This Best Western is right off I-75---which made it very convenient to get anywhere we wanted to go. The staff members we encountered were very polite and helpful The hotel is right across the street from a Waffle House and 60 seconds from a Starbucks and two or three gas stations. The hotel also offers a nice breakfast with the room. Orbitz also had an additional 10% off for a two-night stay---so---it worked out very well.

Convenient...and pet-friendly!
I needed a place to stay during a relocation move. I had my 15-year-old dog with me. I was happy to find a reasonable, pet-friendly place!

very accommodating to our need.
was able to change room after getting there to accommodate us for the non-smoking room compared to the smoking they had given us. Staff friendly and asked to help in any way they could. Would go back again! Room was very comfortable for four people.
