Did its job
My only real complaint about this motel was that the pillows were completely flat (so I had to layer them before sleeping) and there was no alarm clock, so I kept losing track of time when I was getting ready each morning I was there. I only needed the motel for a two-night stopover in Knoxville, and it did its job. Its aesthetics aren't the most pleasing to the eyes, but the linens and towels were clean, the sheets and blankets kept me warm, toiletries were provided, and the room was warm and comfortable with a very flexible heating/cooling system. If you only have a few dollars to spend and are only staying in Knoxville for a few nights, I'd stay there. There is a public bus a block below the motel in case you need to get to the Knoxville transit center or downtown. I used it several times while there and it was very safe and reliable.
