This place is close to the 'action' that is, food, fun etc, and they take good care of you as a guest. Breakfast is sort of continental ( no big full egg plate) but you can fill up on cereal, muffins etc. They have a nice room and its clean and
not a lot of noise though we were by parking lot. The staff are friendly and helpul. We have stayed multiple times and really enjoy the location ( so easy to walk across to yogurt shop or restaurants)and shopping right across street too.
we decided to stay here for the price and the star rating. We were looking for a 3 to 4 star hotel with a 2 star price and found it. Less than $90 a night and with 3 star rating. It only had 10 points less that the $149 a night places. It was
clean and comfortable. Not over the top but nice. In the columns in jackson. Very close to dining and shopping. If I were looking to go back to jackson I would stay here again
The room is in dire need of an upgrade! The bed was very hard. It was like sleeping on a board. The room was not very clean. We did not cover up with the sheets. I mentioned this to the person when I checked out, and she did not appear to be too
concerned. This is the worst night we have spent in a hotel.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, staff friendly, breakfast okay. Only had cereal, coffee, juice, waffles, some fruit and danishes. Good value for the money. I would recommend an evening at the hotel - good location to restaurants.
I feel that my bad experience at a Howard Johnsons years ago in Washington DC is what kept me from trying it again, till now. I am pleasantly surprised that it turned out really well. Good pricing and good location and the staff nice enough,
breakfast continental but nice enough. Room was just right, only thing they forgot is to pick up dirty towels, but did deliver clean ones each day. They also did provide in room microwave and fridge so that was helpful. I have to ding them because the free wi fi was so intermittent as to be not really useful. Other than that, was pleasant and would definitely stay there again.
