The room was minimal! It was dirty from the floor to the walls. Only one outlet by the bed, which had a surge protector plugged in to it!!!!! It took me 20 minutes to get the TV turned on and functioning. Then when I was able to get it working there were very limited channels, most of which were news broadcasts! Booked with [...], which displayed a check-out time of 12:00 am; however, the hotel made me check-out at noon! That was the sole purpose of booking this room at this hotel. Overall, very dissatisfied!!!!!

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
We booked this hotel on the premise that [...] classed it as a 3 star. It is FARRRR from a 3 star -maybe a 1 star at best. The place is FILTHY!! our feet are sticking to the carpet! The bed is soft, only one thin sheet, no blanket and the bedspread is dirty-only 3 soft thin pillows. The name of the hotel is wrong -it is called the Guesthouse Inn - not the Guest House Inn Jackson. We had stopped to check a 2 star hotel called the Guest House Inn and saw how dirty it was - we thought this 3 star hotel [...] was a different one and unfortunately booked it. We highly recommend finding another place to stay.

I would not recommend this hotel!
The first room was not secure or clean - spider on the wall behind the bed, so we refused to stay in it. The second room (the last available according to the manager) smelled moldy, toilet flushed slowly and had a dirt ring from lack of use. It was VERY evident that no one had stayed in the room in a long time! Definately overpriced.

My wife and I used the lobby to interview individuals about our home-base business and the accomodations were great and the staff very helpful. The rooms were nice and quiet. The breakfast is good but they do not have a dining for other meals, mcdonalds is next door and several restraunts within a short drive.

Just across the street and behind the Waffle House in the Old Country Store, provides an excellent homestyle cooking buffet and some great old time music. The area has several shops to visit and also a museum of the Casey Jones story.
