Alabama Refugee
Great place in a pinch
Took refuge here from Alabama in the aftermath of the tornado outbreak of April 2011. Staff was friendly and attentive, just what we needed after a very stressful week. The parking lot was full of families from my area. Good rooms and easy access to everything we needed. Very safe location.

Same ol'
Hotel staff were rude, and VERY unprofessional. When my wife and daughter arrived under the carport to check in, a member of the staff got out of a parked vehicle in front and her hair was a mess, clothes half on and obvious what she was doing. Floors in room would turn white socks black, and lights wouldnt work and the bath tub jets didnt work either. The front desk never answered the phone.

Satisfied Customer
My sister and I met here for a fun weekend of scrapbooking! That requires a lot of space and we were pleased with the size of the room and the set-up which included a table and two chairs. The hotel was clean both inside and outside. The staff, Chris and Randall, were both helpful and courteous. We were able to check in early since our room was ready and waiting. The price was a bargain and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

room of choice to be 'non-smoking'. first room given reeked of stale smoke; also had ants tracking across the suitcase table. second room offered had an extremely dirty carpet, including debris all over the floor and a sticky feel to it. there were remains of french fries under one of the beds; also, reading lamp had no place to be plugged in to, and so was worthless. i can say the staff was helpful and polite, but this did not make up for poor management of the overall facility these comments were left with the hotel staff

My review of Days Inn - Goodlettsville
I opted not to use the pool, dining options, or business center because of the upkeep of the restroom. Behind the toilet it looked as if there was mold and mildew. Hole near the shower curtain; seemed as though possibly they removed the pole and placed it closer to shower. White film or mildew near the shower as well. Small hole in the wall near the second bed. Unfortunatley I will not stay at this hotel again. Cleaniness is very important when your away from home.

Convenient but not clean
The Days Inn Goodlettsville is very convenient to restaurants, businesses and the interstate. However, the hotel had only one driveway entrance, which was not marked and was easily passed by. This is not a hotel for anyone with allergies to smoke, dustmites, mold or pet dander. Both the blankets and the bedspreads smelled like smoke, and the bedspreads had burn holes and stains on them to include what looked like blood. We stayed 4 nights without the sheets being changed, however we always had enough fresh towels. The matresses were very old and soft. The carpet was dirty and dusty in the corners. There were food stains on the walls, and the room was very dark...even with all the lights on. The air-conditioning unit worked OK, but it had dog kibble in the grates. The bathroom had a lot of mold in the shower and visible dirt built up in the floor corners. The bathroom door couldn't be shut unless you lifted up the toilet seat first. There were no suitcase stands in the room. The internet connection was very slow. We would not stay there again.
