From White Oak Lodge and Resort, you will literally be steps from the park, where you can explore the nature trails and so much more. In fact, you just might capture a glimpse of a black bear peeking behind a tree or a deer bounding through the forest. Here, nature is your neighbor. There is no better way to experience the flavor of Gatlinburg than from a rustic log home. Modern yet reminiscent of days gone by, these cabins feature the staples of lifestyles of today. Each fully furnished log home offers almost 1,500 square feet of space. Inside, you will discover a master suite with a whirlpool tub, flat screens televisions with DVD players in each bedroom and the living room, a gas stone fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, and spacious bedrooms with log-inspired furnishings. Outside, a covered front porch is the perfect spot for your morning cup of coffee and the screened-in back porch with hot tub is the ideal place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Front desk hours are 10am - 6pm. There is a USD 30.00 hot tub fee due at check-in. Housekeeping service schedule is upon departure only. You may check-in at the desk located in the Welcome Center between 4pm to 6pm. Check-out is at 10am. If you are arriving after 6pm, you must call the resort in advance for late check-in instructions at 1-800-975-7900. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. nice facilities, a little far from town

We were there to go the Smokies. The cabin was new and especially nice. The hot tub worked very well. It was 20 minutes or so to town, so we spent more time getting out to eat and to the Park than we would have preferred.

Stop at the grocery store in town before cocming out to the cabins. It is a long way back.
