Nice Getaway

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The food was great and the hotel was close to everything including the aquarium. I would stay here again. It was a wonderful short weekend getaway.

Beautiful views

Me and my husband stay here every trip and we are never disappointed. Lovely views and wonderful hotel. Air conditioners could use some upgrading but other than that it is a great place to spend a vacation.

Pick up a trolley pass at the visitors center for local transportation. It runs around every 20 minutes at the hotel.

Great view spot up on the hill

The hotel is sitting on a hill so the view is great. The small counterpart is that it's a little far from the downtown main street (5 min driving), so you won't be able to walk to get food or gift shops.

Overall the stay was just okay.

The extra charge for internet service at $9.95 per day plus the daily room charge wasn't worth it. I would not stay there again.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

Visited for the weekend and the hotel was in a great location with wonderful mountain views. Enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle if the town, but the trolly was also available to take you into town.

Good quiet place to stay

Very nice and helpful staff throughout. Location is a bit off the main roads, but with that you get peace and quiet and views. Rooms have been nicely modernized. Dining is good - breakfast buffet and good evening choices.

Ok

I would recommend to stay in town so you are not wasting so much time waiting on and riding the shuttle. There was no continental breakfast and the wifi that was $10 for 24 hours did not work in the room unless you stood by the hallway.

Entertainment tip: Short drive from hotel

The aquarium in Gatlinburg ia great for the kids and only minutes away by car or you can ride the trolley for only fifty cents per person. Trolley saves money on parking and runs about every thirty minutes.

Ok for a short stay

The location is pretty and there is a shuttle to take you in to town but honestly the time spent waiting on the shuttle would have been time we could have enjoyed if we would have stayed in Gatlinburg on the river. We almost did that but thought we would enjoy the nicer updated rooms so we chose here. There is no continental breakfast so either be prepared to shell out the bucks every morning or take cereal and milk to your room. The wifi is $10 / day but I really needed it for work. It only worked in the hallways or if I stood on the bathroom close to the hallway. I also had a difficult time getting ahold of the front desk. And their main line was ringing busy when we were traveling and trying to call. One time I was put on hold for 10 minutes before I finally hung up and went down there. It's disappointing that the things like breakfast and wifi and not included here. I expected more from a Hilton. Next time I will go ahead and stay in town where I can walk to everything and get a free bowl of cereal.
