nice room
If you are planning on a 4 star fancy hotel this is not the one but if you want a clean and comfortable place to stay then this is it. It is within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg and we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. IT IS CLEAN which is very important to us.

Rodeway Inn Skyland
We traveled with our 1 and 2 year old little girls for a weekend getaway and it couldn't have been any better. There was nothing I could complain about when it comes to Rodeway. The staff was super nice, the maids cleaned every morning always leaving more cups and coffee for my husband. The staff was able to keep us in the same room when we had decided to stay another night. The private balcony was great, we got to sit outside whenever we wanted and never had a problem with neighbors. The beds were extra comfortable, had plenty of pillows. We will be staying there again in just a few weeks when we go back, can't wait!!

We were literally a 5 minute walk from everything in Gatlinburg. We were closest to the Ripley's Aquarium. I would strongly suggest you going to that and the Stars Cars Museum, both definitely worth it.

Another great stay!
This is not a four star hotel but is has alot going for it. Location, staff and value to just name a few. I have stayed here four times now and have always been happy. It is close enough to everything but not in the center of anything.

Mountain lover
Just say "no."
Great location for hiking and sightseeing. Room not very clean: years of dust and "stains" on wall and floor behind headboard, mold in bathroom tile seams, BATHROOM VENTED INTO BEDROOM and vent filthy. Our "forest view" was a few trees and six balconies. Other window looked out on courtyard with broken sliding door propped on fence and back of office. Could not open drapes entire stay because others could see right into the room. Tried to change rooms, but the one we wanted was only for two nights and we'd have to move for our other two. Basically told that when you book a discount room that's what you get. No matter that we stayed four nights, those staying two got better rooms. Would not recommend and we will never stay there again.

Short drive from hotel
Great short hikes to waterfalls and scenic views in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. However, we much prefer the peace and quiet of Townsend.

Weekend Getaway
Great location for the price
The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are a bit small and smell like smoke. We had a great view of the city from our balcany. Overall we are not disappointed but will probably stay somewhere else next time.
