Rocky Waters Motor Inn

For the price this was very nice, the room was roomy for the price, the heater worked very well, the hot water was actually HOT (good for the cold winters), the staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were as advertised and pictured. within walking distance to most everything. The bed was comfortable. You could hear the traffic outside but it was little bother at night. We had a great stay.

The hotel room surprised us with a fireplace that we did not expect to have. It was a nice surprise indeed.

I found the info for hotel misleading. Hotel is on the parkway but you have to walk some distance to really get to anything. They have breakfast but you have to walk to their other building 2 blocks away at the Days Inn to eat. Rooms ever clean but not as big as they seem in pictures.

rooms need to be remodeled badly. beds were clean and comfortable. We went Christmas shopping and watch parade. Very overpriced.

Galtinburg was too congested, due to beautiful weather. We ate at a nice restaurant and then went shopping and walking, walking.

If I knew that this hotel was part of Days Inn I would have not booked it at all. The room was clean. The wall paper in the bathroom was pealing off and the ceiling was very low with stained ceiling tiles. The balcony furniture was dirty and needed to be cleaned. I won't stay there again and suggest to anyone else that for a few more dollars you can stay somewhere better.

My wife & I went for a one-night get-a-way. The hotel had an amazing view, great fireplace, and heated floors in the bathroom. The only downside is that the facility hasn't been renovated recently. Older fixtures, but in great condition.

The Gatlinburg Rocky Waters Inn is not an inn on a quiet river near down town Gatlinberg. The Inn was part of the Days Inn motel chain, our room overlooked a small stream and the main road into Gatlinburg, very noisey day and night. There was no major restaurant near the motel. It would take at least a very long walk (about a mile) to the famous Gatlinburg Hill. The result, every time we went out we had to take the car and fight traffic.

The only good thing I can say about this Hotel was the that the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small and the room needs to be updated. The view of the river was ok but our room faced the street and the noise was really too much. The carpet in the inter lobby was dirty and needs to be replaced. The staff was not very friendly and did not welcome us when we arrived. I can defintely say we will not stay at this Hotel again!

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. I would stay here each and every time I visit Tenn. I was very impressed with the view from the balcony and the location was fabulous.
