Needs an Update

Furniture looked like something you'd see at your grandparents house. Comforter had random burn holes in it. Rooms were not insulated well against sound. I could hear the people next door and the people above me fairly well. The room was very spacious though and had 2 sinks which was nice. All in all, the pros and cons cancel out and make the room about average.

Needs better management

The toilet did not work and when we tried to contact the office, phone did not work. Went to desk and they said they would send plumber but they did not know when he would be in as it was Sunday. We asked to be moved to another room. Also we had paid for room at time of booking and by mistake we paid again. Next day we were told and they said we could work it out when we left and we also said no. The fireplace worked in the first room, however we were told that we would have to pay an additional $10 to have it turned on in the second room as gas had been shut off for the winter. It was 38 degrees outside, however, they did turn it on. Desk clerk on Sunday said she was afraid to contact manager again about fireplace because he would be mad at her and she had already contacted him about plumbing issue. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Only good thing they did allow pets

Average

The room we had was outdated and needed some me renovations. The bathroom was heated with a heat lamp on a timer! If I wouldn't have had my two Shihtzu with me I would've definitely stayed somewhere else.

For Gatlinburg in season the value was good for one night. I would not stay there long term.

Average Room

Loved the balcony view and since the hotel is situated a little piece from the main road the noise level was very low. The room could have been a little cleaner-- there were food crumbs from a previous guest. But another plus was the fireplace which added a special touch.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

This hotel is near downtown shopping and the hotel managers were very helpful by telling us where to park and the least busy days for shopping.
