Good Value and Location
First room didn't work because cable on TV didn't work and there were no chairs to sit on. We were staying for 3 nights so we needed chairs for comfort. After contacting the front desk, they moved us to another great newly renovated room.

Good location for park visit
This is a great location if you want to spend time in the National Park. It was fine for the father/son trip that we were on, but probably wouldn't have been good for the girls in our family. Breakfast is two kinds of cereal, waffles, and Krispy Kreme donuts.

If you want to go to Pigeon Forge, go into the park a short distance and take the bypass in order to bypass the Gatlinburg traffic.

It works
The outside of the hotel was not impressive, but the inside of the room was nice. We were on the second floor, but the hotel didn't have an elevator. That was a pain, but not an issue. Next time we go back, we will probably pick a hotel closer to the center of the Gatlinburg strip instead of near the edge, as this one was. However, the hotel worked for us and I don't have any complaints. The price was definitely right.

Enjoyed having apetizers on the third floor deck at Blaines on Friday evening, watching the crowds in the streets of Gatlinburg. Loved It.

Overpriced and dirty carpet
After arriving and having prepaid over $50.00 per night we found many, many motel all throughout Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge listed for $22.00 to $30.00 per night. This motel was way overpriced. After walking around barefooted on the carpet the first night we found our feet were absolutely black and had to wear slippers the rest of the time we were there.

Very clean and well kept.
We had a great time in Gatlinburg. Our stay at the Red Roof Inn in Gatlinburg was awesome. I liked it so much I am already planning a trip back in October and will be staying at the same Red Roof Inn (309 Ownby St.). The Staff was great and knowledgeable and my favorite part was the continuous improvement. There were always staff cleaning, not just the rooms but the walkways and pool area. The checkin/checkout was quick, the rooms were clean, there was plenty of towels, the staff did not complain when I ask for new sheets and pillow cases; were in fact very understanding and accepting of my faults. I really had a good time and I know that where I stayed made a huge difference. Thanks to all the staff at Red Roof Inn-Gatlinburg.

Looks r Deceiving
First the poor lady that cked us in had not had any sleep in 24hrs but yet no-one releived her. There was no house keeping. We were there for 3nites and had to go get towels, NO ONE came to our room to straighten it, empty trash..NOTHING! We had a pile of towels in the corner when we left. the trash cans were full and the b'fast was horrible. I've stayed in my share of hotels with cont b'fast but that was not evn close to satifactory food to get u started. NOT EVER STAYIN HERE AGAIN. IF UR THINKING OF STAYIN HERE....RUN FOREST RUN!!!!!

Nice for the price
Room was nice, could tell they have been painted and updated recently. WIFI worked great. The pool was a little dissappointing, from 12 to 2pm you have a some sun at the pool, after that its all shade and cool. Breakfast was also decent.

Will not return
Room were dirty and smelled bad. The breakfast choices were waffles, fruit loops, and white bread. No fruit... the juices were more water than juice. The Breakfast area was so dirty it was difficult to eat there. We had stayed here three years ago and had a great experience. It's not the same place any more. We didn't dare go barefooted in the room.
