My Cabin Vacation

Our stay at one of this places' cabins began with a greeting of sewer gas. It was strong enough to keep us out of the lower level of the house. The hot tub cover was completely destroyed, floating on the surface water logged and almost immovable. There was nearly no chlorine in the water. Hearing my wife scream from the kitchen, I came back in to find the coffee pot full of cock roaches. We called the office, they said they would send someone up to take care of the problems, and we never heard from them again. There was also no phone, game console, or VCR in the cabin as listed in the description. Our plans were to spend more time relaxing at the cabin, but the volume of roaches in the kitchen forced us to eat out, the lack of light bulbs prevented reading, the dirty hot tub kept us out of that, and as for walking distance to downtown, please. Try about 2 miles up a serious hill for cabin placement. Nice by car, but you're not walking. When I finally got through to the company on our last day, I expressed our frustration and the woman on the phone laid it down, and went about her other work, leaving me to talk to the desk.
