Bad!
I was quoted $50.00 per night over the phone when I made the reservation and was charged $58.50 by the hotel and was told that it was sent over to them as $58.50. They would not do a refund even though I showed them what i had been quoted and reservation number. The bathroom would not operate properly and they still would not move us or offer any compansation only apolized and said we will get that looked at. I tried to find a different hotel but everything close by was booked. I would like to know why I was quoted $50.00 and then charged $58.50? .

Close to everything

It was a really nice trip, with beautiful weather. The hotel is close to the shops and also clean. That was definitely a good one.

Good choice!
When my family got there I didn't realize that the location was so good. The first thing I found was there were many parking lots for customers. When we went out to have dinner we took just 5-minute walk to the parkway. There are so many restaurants along the parkway. People who work in the hotel were very friendly. They did a great job. Over all, enjoyed our stay here and recommend you to try.

One problem after another
The location is OK at best. It is advertised as being "Downtown, only a few steps from the parkway". Technically it is, as a crow fly's, but to actually get to the parkway it is about 2 blocks. The room itself was OK. We checked in for our 5 night stay, Sat. thru Wed. checking out on Thursday, which I had my conformations with me, only to be told we were only registered for 3 nights. After several minutes of back and forth, I was told they would get it worked out and could I stop back in the next day. Went back and someone else was at the front desk who didn't know anything about what was going on and we were still showing as checking on Tuesday. Back again on Monday, to be told we might have to move rooms for the last night and I'd have to talk to the owner. Didn't hear anything on Tuesday, Back again Wed. AM. Finally saw the owner to be told again we were gong to have to move. We were given a 20 dollar discount for the move.

Motel in Gatlinburg.
It was a motel. It was like so many others I have stayed at. Nothing special.

Short walk to main strip
I felt the location and the price was very good but the bathroom was way too small and the door hinged inward making you stradle the toilet to close the door... very uncomfortable... the area was quiet except the nite the bear was wondering around the pool.

Overall it was good. I would have liked to have seen the mattresses covered (for bed bug protection). Also would have preferred queen beds instead of full size. but other than that it was a great, convenient, Christian run hotel. Easy to access, convenient to walk to/from. Quiet in the evenings which was also a big plus for us. Also a great price compared to the other hotels in the area.
