The motel is in a great location and at a very good price. Room with two queen beds, fridge and microwave. Highly recommended for traveling on a tight budget and still get all the amenities and the location.
I called to let the attendant know that I would be checking in after midnight on a room I had recently booked online. She said no one would be staffing it when I arrived, so she arranged for me to get the key when I arrived after midnight. The
drink machines in the alley took my money without dispensing the drink, so when I checked out, the attendant kindly gave me a refund after I filled out a small slip. The room was spacious due to possibly some missing furniture. The bed was comfortable, and the refrigerator and microwave worked well. The TV was standard but worked and tuned correctly to the stations via an attached cable box. The Wi-Fi did not work well at all though I was able to connect to the network via the supplied username and password. I was not able to successfully surf the Web due to its instability, so I had to use my cell phone's limited data to get online. The bathtub's water spout leaked throughout the night. There was a plentiful amount of towels and cloths available along with two bars of soap, cups, and an ice bucket.
Was a great weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I had a great time. Everything in hotel was what was expected this was my second time staying in this location and we will deff be back again. Only complaint this time was the wifi would not work
but not that big of a deal.
This trip was a couple years ago, and it is still fresh in my head to never stay again. They had a free breakfast, covered in gnats. The pool was never closed over the winter and full of leaves, trash and black water.
The good - value, location. Needs improvement - bath towels to dry off after a shower are like using sandpaper, old small tube TV's give you a headache watching them and cut off the sides of the picture, WiFi worked about half the time which is
really annoying when you need it to do some work at night or to plan your next days in The Smokies, cable TV was out for a while, when I told them cable or WiFi wasn't working the staff acted like they didn't care.
Second time staying here within a different part of the motel. This time the room had carpet and was not up to date. Still was very clean. Parking is a little tight, but well lite and safe. I do like how they do allow pets to stay which many
motels in Gatlinburg say no pets allowed. I will stay here again most definitely for the value, location, and great staff.
I stayed in this motel for the MLK holiday weekend. I like the great location to Obergatlinburg , and to the Gatlinburg strip. It is far enough off the strip to have a quiet atmosphere, but close enough if you want to walk to the local shops and
restaurants. This is by far the best value motel in Gatlinburg, and extremely clean with a friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.
