Gatlinburg hotel near the mountains with lux bedding, pools, mini golf
Bright red siding and a pitched blue roof make the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Gatlinburg North stand out from the surrounding treetops. An outdoor pool with a 72-foot corkscrew slide fronts the hotel, and guests also have access to a year-round indoor pool. The trolley stops at the front door of the hotel, ferrying guests to Gatlinburg tourist sites such as Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. Both continental breakfast with waffles and in-room Internet access are free. Ripley's Davy Crockett Mini-Golf course is located next to the hotel.Hotel Map

Nice stay
The hotel was clean, the staff was was pretty great, and the hotel was nearby the strip in Gatlinburg. The only downfall was the fact that breakfast didn't consist of many different foods. Overall a great stay!

awesome weekend getaway
My mother, son, and I drove up to Gatlinburg for the weekend on 9/24/2010. I couldn't imagine a better experience. Our room was stylish and immaculate. The only bad thing I can say is that the pools are kind of small. My son LOVED the water slide at the outdoor pool and I enjoyed the hot tub at the inside pool. I thought it was cool that they had clean towels at both pools to use. The hotel is right next door to Ripley's Davy Crockett mini golf and we enjoyed that on Saturday night after coming home from the strip, that is by the way a very short drive or the trolley comes right to the hotel. We were very pleased with the Continental breakfast. It wasn't just stale doughnuts and bagels. There was coffee, herbal tea, a fridge of milk, asst of cereals, pastries, and hot food. It was better than what we bought at flapjack's next door. I will definitely go back there and have already recommended it to others.

In Hotel
Eat breakfast there, it's early 7am to 10am but it is worth it to get up and go down and eat free, because they have everything you'll want.
