GREAT Gatlinburg Spring Break trip
Our stay in Gatlinburg was short but filled with constant FUN!! This hotel was close to the main strip and the staff was very nice and friendly. There was a trolley pick-up location right out in front.

not bad
we stayed four nights here, and had a great time. each room has a balcony that overlooks a river, which is beautiful and also drowns out the noise from traffic. it's only a short walk to the main strip and the staff were very nice. The decor in the room was outdated but we don't really care too much for that sort of thing, it served the only purpose we needed it for (sleeping) very well. Also, we arrived on a night full of tornado warnings and were even passed by one, and the building took a good deal of wind without any damage at all. Overall, i'd say it was definitely worth the money we paid. would stay again.

Excellent location in Gatlinburg
We arrived late but had stated that we would be when our reservation was made. Our room had not been cleaned. The beds were stripped but unmade, floor needed vacuumed. When we informed the desk clerk, he gave us another nicer room at no additional charge.

Needs Some updates!!
When we checked in the front desk did not even ask to see our id!! The room was not the best but the location was good. There was holes and stains in the carpet and the wallpaper was also coming off in some places. We will be looking for a different place to stay next time we go to Gatlinburg for vacation.

Great getway poor lodging
Motel badly needs updating. Room smelled very musty. Carpet was dirty. Bathroom and sink area was very small. Located at the far end of town. Long walking distance to dining and attractions.Driving distancs not that far but very hard to find parking without having to pay an all day fee at a parking lot. Should have spent a little more money for lodging at a motel more in the center of town.

Ok family getaway
It was ok room was nothing speical I guess i was exspecting a little more for $109 a night,I did not get a refund when one of my guest couldnt make it because of a madical emergency with her child, there again I must have been exspecting to much.I thought there would be more for older people to do around there but there was not much.Dollywood is for kids, spent $57 for nothing there was nothing for older folks,Dixie Stamped was very good for the money you spend, all in all not such a good trip.

Kinda scary
I think I can best sum up the hotel by sharing what my 6 year-old said. I was a little freaked out when I got to the hotel because it didnt look anything like the pictures, but it was getting dark, I had already paid, and we were tired. However, I kept my opinions to myself hoping not to diminish my sons joy as we were mid-vacation. Granted we had just spent the last two evenings at some pretty nice hotels, however my 6 year old finally said to me "mommy, this place is....kinda.....weird". I asked him why and he pointed out that when you walk in the room you walk into the bathroom (the sink is what awaits you as you open the door), it smelled outside (while the view on the patio was pretty it smelled like garbage really badly so we ended up eating inside our room), and the set up of the hotel was very strange. There was none of the usual pleasantries that occur when you check into a hotel, the key to the room did not inspire any assurance of safety, etc. Granted it is a Days Inn (which I guess I should have known better), but the pictures made it seem rather quaint and the room was clost to $100 which is what your standard decent Holiday Inn Express is. I would not stay here again. Ever.
