Excellent value

From allowing a very early check-in (due to my schedule change) to the hot breakfast, large room, and very comfortable bed, it's a great hotel. Location is convenient for business and leisure. At times, the parking lot is overfull and it's hard to find a place to park. This stay, on the second morning, I discovered my coffee hadn't been replenished in the room so I had to wait until I dressed and could go down to the breakfast bar for coffee. And good coffee it is. Overall, minor issues.

Lovely!

Just spent a night there on a quick trip. The renovation is wonderful. Love what you have done with the breakfast too.

Generally Good...BUT Skip Breakfast Here

I was traveling there with family. We were planning to do a nice lunch somewhere, but we ended up having breakfast at the hotel, mainly because it was free. Big mistake. The breakfast there was generally bad; even the orange juice tasted wrong, like it was diluted. And because we ate that, we missed out on having a proper meal somewhere else in Nashville, since our appetites were all spoiled both for breakfast and for lunch. If you plan to go here, it's not a bad decision; just leave breakfast out of the equation, and don't plan to eat here. For heaven's sake, go somewhere nice to eat. In fairness to this Hampton Inn, I must disclose that I have eaten the breakfast at other Hampton Inns all over the country, and this is not any worse than any of the others. They're all about the same, and not worth your time.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

Eat at Monell's. It's pricey but authentic family-style southern cooking in a family atmosphere.
