Embassy Suites Nashville - South/Cool Springs

Came to Nashville for CMA music fest. This hotel was about 20 minute drive from downtown. Great shopping and restaurants nearby. Facility was nice and well kept. Restaurant in hotel was good. Breakfast was fair - omelettes good, but pretty long wait in line.

The hotel staff was very friendly. the lobby is breath taking.The only downside are the televisions. They don't have flat screens which seem to not fit in such a nice hotel.

We have stayed at this Embassy Suites numerous times over the past 5 years. Usually because it is away from the business district of Nashville but just a short drive to get there. There are many good places to eat around this area and historic Franklin is always a great place to shop. The overall experience is very enjoyable and relaxing but could be a little better. As with any hotel the children are always out of control tying up elevators and running up and down the halls. Also I would think wireless internet access would be free (currently $10 per day) considering the cost to them is negligible. It's just another way to make money with little effort. If I really need internet the Hampton Inn (same chain) let's me use their even if I am not a registered guest. It's called "customer service" and building good relationships.

We have stayed at this facility many times. It's a convenient meeting place for us with friends from Alabama and it has easy access to restaurants, etc. -just off I-65. It's clean, quiet, well-maintained. The complimentary breakfast is excellent. The pool is a bit frigid and the manager's reception is mediocre in comparison with other Emabassy Suites. The only thing that really irritates me is paying for internet service - when there is no charge at Hilton's lower-end facilities.

Our experience at The Embassy Suites Nashville - South/Cool Springs hotel was a great experience for us. We especially enjoyed the door between the living quarters to the bedroom. This made it feel more like a home than a stay at some hotel. The drinks that were offered to all residence of the hotel was another surprising detail not mentioned when I booked our stay. The only regret that we have about our stay was that we arrived a couple hours after check in time so we missed out and didn't take advantage of all the hotel had to offer.

BREAKFAST ENDS AT 9.00 A.M. ON WEEKDAYS. THIS IS UNREASONABLY EARLY AND IN MY ONE-WEEK STAY I OBSERVED MANY GUESTS AGGRAVATED BY THIS PARSIMONIOUS POLICY. DESPITE REQUESTING A NON-SMOKING ROOM WHEN MAKING OUR RESERVATION, WE WERE GIVEN A SMOKING ROOM AND TOLD THAT THE HOTEL WAS FULL - WHICH IT WASN'T.

We have stayed in many Embassy Suites over the years and they were always a step above the rest, in amenities, in friendly service, in clientele. This particular Embassy and the one we stayed in on Financial Parkway in Little Rock seemed more like staying at an old, almost worn out hotel. This time, I was disappointed that I spent the extra money. The hotels themselves just seemed dingy and loud. They were less than helpful. The breakfasts aren't what they used to be either, one of the main reasons I chose the E. I remember the fresh, warm Belgian Waffles and did not find not one at either hotel. Suffice it to say, next time I won't waste my money. They're still charging the price but have greatly lowered their standards.
