BEST WESTERN Franklin Inn

It was ok. A quick stay checked in late and out early. It was not a bad stay. The bed was comfy and looked nice as with the other stuff like tv etc not so good. Tv buttons were broke but it worked and other stuff looked run down. Not bad for the price though.

Attention-to-detail was missing on my recent visit to this hotel. 1) It was only the next morning that I finally found the list of TV channels tucked away in a drawer. Why wasn't it placed next to the TV? 2) The coffee maker was missing two essential parts: the carafe and the slide-in tray which holds the coffee bag. 3) The telephone was dead until I discovered that the incoming cord had been plugged into the phone's data port. Good things: the desk clerk on duty when I checked in was friendly and courteous, though he was unable to help with the problems described above. There was no traffic noise from nearby interstate 65 - a pleasant surprise. The price is right and the location is very convenient for me. And it's the only hotel in the area for under $100. Summary: I hope that the Franklin Inn can get its act together in time for my next visit.

ok place- location was great, we were on business. housekeeping staff was rude, didn't want to give out towels there was nothing special, just a place to shower and sleep - dont expect luxury :(

Bed was comfortable but room was somewhat old. Towels were rough. There were no pamphlets to tell TV stations, local restaurants, attractions, etc. Overall, OK but not a great experience.

The hotel was nice and clean with good service and the breakfast was good.

Breakfast should have offered fruit, and not have the same menu daily. No lotion in the room only shampoo, not good Kitchen attendant gave only one piece of meat per person when at closing there clearly was approx. 20 pcs why not monitor food and let guest serve them selves.

Great access to I-65 and the room were kept clean. When you went to breakfast some of the staff could make you a waffle if you would like or serve you whatever hot item there was for that day. On the down side there was a slight odor of smoke in a non-smokinig and it got a little noisy with some of the guests at night. This might have been due to the fact that Bonoroo was happening that weekend and the CMA music awards were going on.

Room was very small for a Queen size bed and bathroom floor was very dirty with a lot of hair on it upon check in. Breakfast had a bland taste to it, but it was hot. Was worth the price.

The staff was very couteous and helpful. This trip was to visit my youngest son and our newly born grand daughter. This was a good location to stay at. I do have one problem my credit card has been charged both by Oritz and Best Western. That is the only downer on this trip.

The location was very convenient with lots of restaurant choices nearby. However, the bathroom was disgusting. I swear there was dried urine on the wall behind the toilet and waht looked to be blood spatters on the back of the bathroom door.
