On your way to the Smokies....Do not miss out on the other fabulous East Tennessee place visitors love to see...Historic Dandridge, Tennessees second oldest city. Terrific place to stay in the Smokies!

I grew up in the East Tennessee area, and my heart is still there, even though I've been living in Texas for over 20 years now. I try to get away as often as possible for a trip back home. On previous trips we stayed at another hotel a few miles away, but were not happy with the location. This year we decided to try the Super 8 at Dandridge, which was closer to the family we were there to see, and found that we really liked the hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the prices were favorably comparable to other hotels in the area, and they were easy to find. The rooms were clean and neat, and easily accessible. Internet access was easily obtained, which was important to my work. We had two of our dogs with us, and the additional cost for the pets was the best I have ever found. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and plan to stay there again next time I get home.

THE LOCATION WAS GREAT .

THE HOTEL WAS A LITTLE RUN DOWN. THEY WERE PAINTING AND THE PLACE HAD AN UNKEPT PLACE LOOK. IT JUST NEED EXTRA CLEANING ANG SOME LOVING CARE.

Dandridge

I did not receive the free high speed internet service as advertised. There was an extra $32 dollars attached to the bill when I checked my account on the internet.The billing statement was hard to read. Apparently my credit card was charged before we left on our trip. The hotel charged us again and had to credit our account. [...]The hotel staff were foreign and hard to understand.

Great Experience

DANDRIDGE

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE CLEANLINESS OF THE BATHROOM. ALL OF THE REVIEWS I READ SAID THE ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN, BUT MY BATHROOM WAS FILTHY. THE TOILET OBVIOUSLY HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED FOR A WHILE. THE TOILET BOWL HAD A RING OF MOLD OR MILDEW AROUND THE TOP OF THE WATER. THE SINK AND BATHTUB FAUCETS HAD SOAP SCUM AND GUNK ALL OVER THEM AND THE BATHTUB HAD A LAYER OF SOAP SCUM ALSO. THE FLOORS AND COUNTERS HAD HAIR AND DEBRIS ALL OVER THEM. THE REST OF THE ROOM WAS FINE, BUT THE BATHROOM LOOKED LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED IN A LONG TIME. I HAVE STAYED AT THE SUPER 8 IN NEARBY MORRISTOWN A FEW TIME AND WAS ALWAYS VERY PLEASED WITH THE ACCOMADATIONS. I WAS EXPECTING THE SAME IN DANDRIDGE AND WAS VERY DISSAPPOPINTED BY THE DIFFERENCE

Great Value

Super 8 @Dandridge was a great value. The only criticism I have is about the sheets underbedding. Ever slept on sheets that kind of roll under you? This one did too. They need to invest in some foam padding to go under the sheets to prevent this. Otherwise everything was perfect for an economy motel.
