Good for the Price!

This is an older motel so the rooms were dated and showing some rough treatment. They were very clean and the staff was very helpful with booking changes we needed to make (arrived early and stayed an extra night). The pool is small but nice. Worth what we paid. We will stay again if in the area.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly

We have stayed in this Travel Inn before, didn't have any problems, but NOT this time. Entering the room, it smelled like mildew, possibly wet carpet? We bought some air freshner, sprayed that, it help somewhat. Then, after running the air conditioner on high, for several hours while we were out visiting, it was still hot in our room! My husband got the manager to come and change out our air. While in the room, we ask about internet code, he gave us the code knowing it wasn't working. I explained to him, I wanted to use the internet in the room, he said I could not because of previous storms they had. He also said I can go to the lobby and it will work, but not in the comfort(bed, pajamas etc) of my room! I think he was rude and angry because he had to change the air conditioner and it was so hot, and he was sweating. He was definitely angry, and I did not appreciate him speaking to me that way! Also the fridge didn't work, so we couldn't keep cold drinks! We were just there overnight but it was not a very pleasant stay. If the manager wouldn't have been nasty, the air worked when it should have, I could have used my laptop in my room, if the room didn't smell bad, if the fridge worked, things might have been great! We have never had this kind of experience anywhere! I'm afraid we won't to stay at this Travel Inn again, because guests shouldn't have to put up with all that! Again never had any problems with this Travel Inn or any others in the past, but this trip we couldn't wait to leave, and didn't even get to enjoy the beautiful pool that morning!

Good for Price

Outside of Hotel needs major update, but inside was pretty nice and bed was comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was extremely limited with only a few options.

Not too bad

The motel looks old inside and outside. It has your basics, like cable, Wi-Fi, microwave, fridge, hairdryer. The towels, however, were so worn that they felt stiff or starched. Our biggest concern was the door that connected adjoining rooms didn't have a lock on it, just safety chain. We didn't try to open it since people were staying next door. The bed was comfortable, and coffee was much better than what they had at breakfast. Oh by the way, don't expect much of the breakfast, just some yuckie coffee and small pastry. Next time I'll try HJ down the street for a few more bucks, I heard they have waffles for breakfast! Overall, if you have a tight budget, you probably wouldn't mind staying here.
