Not recommended

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I spilled something on the floor and when I wiped it up, the cloth was black. The sink was stained and dirty looking. But the worst nightmare was when I picked up a washcloth, it was stained and dirty. Picked up the second, same thing. Picked up the third, same thing. The towel looked like it had lipstick stain on it. It was a nighmare!

Good location, clean and reasonable.

I came for a minister's conference and stayed one week. The hotel staff were very pleasant, the room was clean and the accommodations were affordable. This hotel was only 5 minutes away from the conference so that was a plus.

Ramada So Limited

I realize reviews are based on each individuals own experience but by my account this place is a run down, used up, wore out "one night stand" kind of place. I would never let my family step inside the lobby so don't even think about staying here. I made reservations three weeks in advance and even with a confirmation number the desk clerk with whom I made the reservation tried to charge me $15 more per night than the reservation stated. No one here speaks english very well so it wasn't until I walked out of the lobby on my way to another motel that he understood what I was saying and conceded to the negotiated price. Upon entering the room I found it to be WELL USED with stains in the carpet and potato chips on the floor beside my bed. We were tired and it was late so we went to bed hoping to get some much needed rest. The air conditioner was not when we arrived it was hot but we managed to finally get to sleep around 11pm. At 4am a truck came through the parking lot emptying the large garbage containers located 50 feet from our door. The truck must have made multiple stops because the "beeping" noise made while in reverse repeated four or five times before the truck finally pulled away for good. By that time we were all awake of course. I proceeded to shower and was not surprised, based on everything else so far, to find mildew growing in the caulking around the tub and up the wall. Once inside the shower I noticed the shower curtain rod was very loose which, when closed, didn't properly seal against water escaping onto the floor. Also the shower curtain was very mildewed and needed to be replaced. I did ask the front desk to repair the shower curtain rod and replace the curtain and they did so. However the person who made the repair didn't need his tools anymore because they were left in my bathroom. The tools were still there four days later when I checked out. I'm used to pen and paper in the room beside the phone but not at this motel. They offer continental breakfast but if you like juice you're out of luck. The juice machine is broken. The coffee is watered down so much so that I thought it was tea. In summary I would just say that I have associated the name Ramada and Wyndham with above average accommodations in the past but this is not the case at this location. I understand why they call it the "Ramada Limited". It truly lives up to its name.

Okay to stay, nothing special

Room was to have a microwave and refrig, neither were in the room. Hotel did not have the news paper. Room had broken electrical outlets and burned out light bulbs. Room needed to be dusted. Continental breakfast was nice

Good Value

We stopped there for the night before another day of road travel. For the money, it was a really good value. It was clean, not too small for a double queen room, it was not out of date in appearance, and the people at the front desk were friendly. The free Wi-Fi was fast enough without requiring an annoying registration. Only two complaints, and these are very minor: we were supposed to have a fridge and microwave but did not get either, and; the sheets were in the 200 thread-count range which for me, someone that values small creature comforts like high thread-count sheets, makes a difference. But again, for the money, I don't think it can be beat. Also, it's right off of 75 but it's hidden behind a bunch of other motels.

We went to Denny's the next morning for a quick breakfast and the food was fine but the wait time was terrible; an hour from start to finish.

good value

The Ramada Limited was good for the price and easy to find off the highway. It has outside access rooms, so a consideration for women alone, but I did not feel unsafe. I had a room with a small fridge and microwave. The fridge was unfortunately so noisy I unplugged it, but otherwise the accomodations were fine and the room and sheets were clean, as was the lobby (the attendant was friendly and helpful, too). There was a shopping center across the street with a Target in it, which was handy, and both a Denny's and a Waffle House for breakfast (continental breakfast is available at the hotel). After reading one bad review of this motel, I was worried, esp. about getting a smoking room instead of non-smoking. The room itself was smoke-free, but when I ran the fan in the bathroom it did seem to pull in a hint of smoke smell, but all in all, it was a good value and fine for my two night stay.

hotel was average

Check in was easy and the staff was friendly. The Hotel rooms (we need 2) were average size. There was dust in spots and the carpeting was not very clean. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were too small. We stayed two nights with a total of seven kids. The continental breakfast was not too great and with a large family it was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. The juice was watery and the coffee was often not fresh. I think we got a great price but I would have payed a little more for a good breakfast and a cleaner room.
