Quality, budget hotel without compromising location and convenience
The Microtel Inn Chattanooga Hamilton Place is located moments from major tourist attractions and a plethora of chain restaurants. The hotel boasts a complimentary continental breakfast, free high-speed Internet access in all rooms, free parking for all vehicles, including RVs and trucks as well was a 24-hour switchboard and wake-up service. Children 17 and under stay free with parents and pets are welcome (fees apply).

Not As Good As Usual
Front staff was very helpful and accomodating. Carpet was being replaced in the hallway on our floor and they were running behind, but not terribly inconvenient. I was asked by the front desk if I would like to change floors but didn't think it was necessary. Had a non-smoking room with faint hint of smoke and an ashtray on the desk and also saw later a small burn hole in the bedding. Bathroom was very clean as always. Not uncomfortable, the room was just not as good as our previous visits. Will stay there again for sure because of our previous wonderful experiences.

Small but clean!
The room is really small, but it was clean and if you're just looking for a room....then this is ok. Not any amenities to speak of, and the staff was neither her nor there, not friendly not unfriendly. Central to may attractions and resturants. Probably wouldn't stay there again. Many other hotels/motels in the same area.

BAD EXPERIENCE
OVERALL BAD EXPERIENCE, BAD MANAGEMENT, HOTEL LACKS ADEQUATE SECURITY, HOTEL STAFF IS VERY UNFRIENDLY, HOTEL IS NOT AS DESCRIBED. BREAKFAST IS VERY BAD. THE OWNER OF THE PROPERTY IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & DID NOT CARE FOR THEIR CUSTOMER.

Book Anywhere But Here - Bad Management Too
Other peoples reviews are not accurate of this hotel. This hotel represents itself as 3 stars but is not in fact 3 stars. The hotel is very run down. Their front office staff ignored the fact that there was a security issue at the front of the hotel when we arrived. The room itself was extremely run down including no bedspread on the bed, ceiling was starting to have chips falling from it, the bathroom shower water faucet had a leak and would not turn off and on. The continental breakfast was very stale and was not editable. This hotel provides an unsafe and unacceptable environment. Do not go there intending to save money as your primary purpose. Spend the extra $5 or $10 and stay somewhere else. The General Manager of the hotel refused to acknowledge the bad stay and would not even offer a partial refund. She was very rude. If I could save 3 or 4 families from going through this, I wish I could!

suited the purpose
It was ok. Motel is in transition, I hope. Incomlete and sloppy painting, loose floor tiles, stained carpets. But overall, comfortable, and friendly.

Great Staff, Fantastic Value
Me and my wife where pleasently surprieed by The Microtel as it was our first time at one. Its in a good area, the amenities are adequate, but its really a great value for the money. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would stay again.
