Days Inn Chattanooga-East Ridge

We were very disappointed with our stay. We booked our reservations because it was a Days Inn. The bed did not have a fitted sheet and the manager said they did not use fitted sheets, only flat sheets. So the mattress was exposed to us. The carpet was very dirty and turned our feet black when walking on it. We could not get extra pillows and blankets, or extra coffee for the room. Every time we would ask for something, we were told the manager was away and the staff did not have access to any additional items. The staff was very rude and there was food stolen out of our hotel room.

We had gotten this reservation because of the price. We regret everything!!! The room and bathroom were filthy! The bedspread had cigarette burns the size of half-dollars! There was mold everywhere! The carpet was filthy. We were afraid to walk barefoot. My husband is a very patient and calm man. When he complained, he was shown another room. That wasn't much better. Then, he just asked for a refund and we would leave. Because we were 15 mins past check-in (2 pm and it was 2.45 pm) were told we could not get a refund. He appealed and the gentleman, though nice, simply stated, "that's the rules." After inspecting 2 more rooms, we found one with no mold on the tub and fixtures. The carpet was just as bad but the bedspread was better. Only upon our return home did we find out we could've called Orbitz. This place should be removed from your registry! It is old, very run down and filthy. While we were not expecting chandeliers and crystal for $59, were not expecting this. This has been the worse hotel we've ever stayed at and could not wait to leave!! We don't appreciate any establishment that has a "no refund" policy. We will be writing a complaint to Days Inn. We are still amazed at this place!!! Terrible, terrible, terrible.....

Old, musty smelling small basic standard room. Definitely needs updating. Air works well but is noisy. Very convenient to I-75. Nighttime staff very friendly. Several restaurants nearby. Left early in am to attend event. Returned at 5 pm and room had not been cleaned. Free breakfast? There again, you get what you pay for. We went across the street to Waffle House. Daughter stayed down the road for just a few $$ more and had much better room, more space, cleaner, fabulous breakfast bar. Next time I will definitely stay there.

It is very close to the interstate and restaurants, however, our non smoking rooms smelled of smoke, and our friends had trouble with getting into their room, overall I would say a good place for the price.

This hotel was very old and needed a face lift inside and out. Police was out arresting people, and some of the guest walked all night and made noise. The rooms had a bad odor to them and appliances were broken and detached from their base. I will never stay here again, as it was a horrific experience.

I waited almost a year before posting my review, so my recollection may be fuzzy. However, I recall being satisfied with the room and the service. It was conveniently located to where I needed to on my overnight trip. I also recall it having easy access to main roads, fast food restaurants, and service stations. However, the driveway entrance to the hotel was difficult to see at night, though that may have just been my unfamiliarity with the locale, and the liquor in my system. Overall, I was very pleased with this hotel for a nice, cheap stay for one night only.

Great location to the event we were attending. We liked that they are pet friendly. The staff in the office was very friendly. There was noise issues from outside parking area, but I think that was from us being on the bottom floor. Other small issue was that the hair dryer didn't work and they didn't have any extras in the office. Over all we like the hotel.

The Days Inn was comfortable. The bed had a good mattress. The bathroom is somewhat small, but the shower worked fine. The location was very good, since it is an easy on and off for the Interstate. We were just traveling through and so were looking for an inexpensive place for a good night's sleep.
