Comfort Inn Chattanooga

This hotel looks good on the outside, the lobby was nice. The room we had was run down. The tv and phone didnt work, the bathroom curtain rod was unattached at one end, the shower curtain hung into the bottom of the tub, the towel rack shelves fell off the wall when I went to get a towel, the air conditioner smelled nasty, two of the pillow cases were stained, the white towels were grey. The sliding drape to the patio only had about 4 hooks and barely worked. The manager said the rooms were just painted. I can't believe this room went for 97.44 including room tax. I will let Choice Hotels know what a BAD Comfort Inn this was.

The management and staff were helpful and friendly. The room smelled musty and the floor was sticky. The swimming pool had no water in it.

When we arrived the Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We were given a key to an occupied room. Upon returning to the Guest desk, this was corrected. Our room smelled horrific! It smelled of urine and mildew, the carpet felt damp. Otherwise our room was clean. The patio furniture was filthy and appeared it had never been cleaned. The pool was cloudy and had debris floating in it. We asked if it would be cleaned, they assured us it would be, but it never was. The pool furniture was aged and dirty as well. The breakfast was great, well stocked and the waffles were a great addition. The staff was extremely accomodating, but the smelly room and outdoor furniture were shabby. The proximity to local shopping and eatieries was great, however it was very close to the Interstate, making for loud traffic noise while at the pool. Be aware that this hotel does NOT have an elevator, but is pet friendly.

Our experience at Comfort Inn was overall a good stay with a few things that need to be improved. Our room had two t.v's because one didn't work then while watching t.v. during the late night hrs. it started getting lines and making weird noises that almost woke up the kids. I feel as though they need a grounds keeper because the grass and bushes were overgrown. They have a wonderful continental breakfast and very friendly staff though!!! I would go back if I were going that way.

Hotel is good value for the price. Convenient to I-75 and therefore to the whole area. It's about six miles or so from downtown. There are not a lot of restaurants in the immediate area, but there is a 24 hour diner that is part of the Best Western just down the street that has very good stuff. There are many restaurants heading toward Chattanooga on either side of I-75. Several in the Hamilton Place shopping area...not a mall as it's not all under one roof, but probably 50 or 60 major retailers: JC Penney, Sears, Dillard's, Belk, Staples, Barns & Noble, and a ton more I can't name right now.

We were just passing through Chattanooga, and stopped at this hotel for one night. We liked the availability of restaurants for dinner, and had a delicious dinner at the Bone Fish. Comfortable room, WiFi, good free breakfast.

I would have prefered tp be closer to town, I didn't have a car so there was nothing for me to do. Cabs are very expensive, no public transpertation. I have to say the lady checking me in could not have been any friendler or more professional.The room was perfect for what I needed,very neat and clean.

This hotel keeps everything clean and pool is nice too. I was disappointed about breakfast menu. They do not have many options, but overall this hotel is clean. There is no elevator at this hotel, so I felt a little trouble.
