This was not good
I had reserved a 2 bed suite, I confirmed, but when i arrived and given the key and went to the room i found out it was one bedroom. I went to front desk, she said yes they had changed it without calling me or telling me. ( She didnt even tell me when i checked in, but she knew it) She said it was in the notes that they had bumped me so they could get a groups business. Since there was three of us, i was going to have to sleep on couch, as every thing within 50 miles was booked. I asked for a blanket, she gave me a matress pad and said this is what she had.( i did find a blanket in the room Lastly there was a large bug in the shower when we left.

Buisness
This hotel is horrible. the first room they gave me did not have a bed in it. The second room smelled so bad of smoke that I left and check in to the courtyard down the street.

The best hotel I have enjoyed for price.
I had to go to Knoxville to attend my mother's funeral. Although it was not an ideal trip the hotel stay was very restful. A youngman named [...] at the hotel greeted me with condolence and assisted me quickly so that I could get to my room and rest. The room was spacous and the bed very comfortable. It was worth every penny. The area around the hotel location was very clean, the mountainous area was very beautiful and the business area around outside the hotel area was peacefully quiet. I will again visit this area, perhaps same hotel again. Also the breakfast was magnificent, very tasty.

Time-saving tip:
Short drive from hotel
Everything was at the nearest corner if you had a car. The drug store was just a block away. There was a steak house (next lot) that served traditional american food and other cultural cuisines. The hotel was off the major highway of 129. The hotel was located right outside the airport yet the airport was not visible from the hotel itself and no noise could be heard from the flights coming in or out. Again it was a nice place to rest for several days or a complete week.

Home for Christmas
[...]. We had problems traveling from Europe due to weather and the staff was very responsive and helpful in adjusting our reservations. On a scale of 1 to 10 we give them a 15. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs and questions. Housekeeping was great and very responsive as well. The location was quiet (would have never known we were in the vicinity of an airport) with easy access to shopping and a variety of restaurants and eateries. The only recommendations for improvement that we have are a microwave at the breakfast bar to make the oatmeal (would have been a plus) and little more variety (i.e. peanut butter, fruit toppings for the waffles) and fresher fruit at the breakfast bar.

Everything necessary is but a short drive away. Easy access to Knoxville and minutes from the airport.

Adequate!
The best way to describe this hotel is adequate; not over the top, but not bad either. Room adequate; over all, clean. Breakfast; adequate, very basic fare. Views of parking lots and restaurants. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and be gone the rest of the day. This is it!

Logical choice
Since I had a good experience at another MainStay I thought it would be a logical choice and I was not disappointed. The staff was very friendly, good sized clean rooms, good breakfast spread and a quiet location with plenty of surrounding restaurants.

Great Location
The Mainstay Suites in Alcoa,Tn was located in a great place. It was easy to drive into Maryville, Knoxville, and the surrounding area. There are two nice restaurants located within walking distance. The rooms were very comfortable and it was nice to have a separate bedroom which you could close off. This made it feel more like home and you had plenty of sitting room for visitors. We will definately stay there again.

The Maybestay Suites
The staff was very friendly, helpful and really went out of their way for me. The rooms were nothing special and the wireless internet was really flaky. Since the internet is a requirement for me to do work that didn't please me much. The tv was also in very poor condition and the speakers were almost blow in it and spots of green would just show up. Other then that a good hotel.
