Believe the reviews! Don't waste your money!
I read the poor reviews and thought to myself, "these were just complainers!" I never post negative comments, but I feel compelled to warn others about this place before they waste their money. property allowed a private party to blast music so loud that the tv couldn't drown it out. Didn't stop until around 2am. I arrived just before midnight and they refused to issue a refund. No heat in the room on a low 30's night. Had to park in a fire lane because of too little parking. Worried all night that I was going to wake up to my car having been towed. Room needs serious updating. Sheets and blankets had cigarette burns in them. Not worth saving $30!!!!

Run-down, under the airport flight path
There is a reason why this hotel is so cheap; you get what you pay for. I'm not sure how they can honestly say "newly renovated", as based on the algae-filled decorative fountain out front, scuffed up and dirty walls, and dingy lobby, "newly" must mean about 30 years ago. I guess I should have expected to hear considerable air traffic given the location, but there is also a military air base nearby, and on Saturday night the jets ran drills overhead until 12:30am... not so great with an early flight out the next morning. The hotel is located on Alcoa Hwy, a four lane route where the traffic goes at least 10 miles over the 45mph speed limit, making getting out of the hotel parking lot pretty precarious at times. The only amenities within walking distance are the low-end fast food joints.

On our way to a family reunion
We were only there overnight than we were off to Somerset. We were a little disappointed in the breakfast. There was no fruit. Otherwise the rooms were very nice and comfortable. Our flight was delayed in Denver for an extra two hours so we got in late and were really unable to enjoy all the accomadations. Price was very reasonable.

terrible
Terrible, I got a " smoke free" room. The first night I killed a cockroach. It had a foul smoky stink to it. I never leave any comments, but this is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in.

Convenient to airport, but noisy!
Stayed overnight to be near Knoxville airport (TYS) for an early flight. Room had plenty of space, refrigerator, microwave, chair and small sofa. Old, but satifactory. Five minutes from airport and car rental return. However, airplanes practically blow off the roof of this hotel when they fly by. If you want some quiet, look elsewhere.

Roach motel
Checked in Friendly receptionist reasonable rate. Got to the room and met the first roach. The hair drier didn't work, my wife went to return it. while she was there three other roaches crawled and flew close to her. She couldn't stay, roaches and her don't get along. While I was packing up a jet on approach flew over and it was quite loud. We called a taxi and checked into another hotel. Tried to get our money back but I had taken a shower and turned the bed down before my wife returned so [...] denied the refund.

Got what I paid for.
I needed a place to sleep while visiting a friend at a nearby hospital. It served it's purpose of providing me with a clean shower a bed and a good lineup on TV. However, there were signs of neglect in the room. Walls were dirty, along with the carpeting, and there were a few things that needed repair. For the price, I got what I paid for. I would recommend this hotel for someone who just needed a bed for the night.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
There is a variety of restaurants within a mile including a nice Appleby's that I ate at. I would suggest not walking as there are no sidewalks except for the shoulder of a rather busy road. The continental breakfast at the hotel was dismal. No cream cheese for bagels. Only real thing there to eat was cereal and a few muffins.

The good and The bad
The Hotel was old, even with the upgrades there was a hole wall, tiles where broken. I have stayed in worse hotels. The plus was it was about 5 minutes from the airport, that is why we chose it.

free breakfast??????????
Room was fine. Not expensive. Booked the room because of location and free breakfast. When we went to breakfast and the UNFRIENDLY staff demanded info such as; WHAT IS YOUR NAME and WHAT IS YOUR ROOM NUMBER. There was no good morning or it's going to be a nice day....... We proceeded to get a bowl of cereal to start the day only to find the milk was spoiled. So I got some biscuit and gravy instead. As I am eating, the UNFRIENDLY comes in to notify us the we were not eligible for breakfast because we got a GREAT rate through [...]. WHAT!??? THROUGH IT IN THE GARGABE!!!!!! Long story short. If she had ANY personality at all and would have been SOMEWHAT courteous it might have been a different story. BEWARE OF THE MILK and the UNFRIENDLY!!!! I WILL NOT STAY AGAIN!!!!!!! I will drive farther than I would like next time.

Excellent park and fly location
We chose this hotel for the park and fly accommodations. Nice and clean, the staff was super! We used hotel shuttle to airport and they were very prompt to take us. Upon return, wait for shuttle from airport was less than 10 minutes. Driver was most courteous. Airport noise was expected and would not deter us from staying again. Nice breakfast served until 9 a.m.

Not Applicable
We were so happy with the cost of our one night stay in order to park and fly. About half the cost of long term parking at the airport for over a week and we started out with a good night's rest and a good breakfast not just doughnuts, juice, and coffee.
