Great Hotel!
The hotel was clean, quiet and the service was wonderful. We stayed two nights on business and had found the pool and workout facilities and breakfast were superb. I will definately com back.

Short drive from hotel
I recommend driving to the dam and to the lake. You won't be disappointed in the views and there are some nice casual restaurants. Easy bike trails in the parks near the dam.

This hotel is near Yankto South Dakota a short distance to the dam and the marina where there is bike and hiking trails, boat rentals and restaurants

Yankton is ok!
This was our first trip to Yankton, so we were a little concerned that the hotel options wouldn't be very nice. But the rooms at this Holiday Inn Express were very clean, comfortable, and well decorated. It definitely exceeded our expectations. We did have a problem with out bill. The charged us for the room when we checked out even though we had prepaid through Orbitz (obviously). We made the girl at the counter aware of this, but had to wait until the assistant manager came in later that day to fix it. They called us that evening and all was worked out in the end. That was the only mishap we encountered.
