Great Place
The rooms were updated and beds were nice. The shower was bold and hot, which is great in the AM. The TV's were new, and the attached restaraunt was great.

Great last minute evening,noisy morning
Breakfast was way too skimmpy and way too busy to handle. Large group of Harley riders pretty rude revving engines and playing stereo loud before they left unaware of others . Not hotels fault.

Delightful destination
We called a few hours before arrival, confirmed our requests for 2 queen beds, and requested a microwave and small refrigerator. Check-in was instantaneous, [...] We left a credit card that we used for dining the first night (delicious, reasonably priced meals (recommend the pork chop!), with good, friendly service). The pool area was a little crowded, but not enough to intimidate our 3 year old, who made several friends. Beds were very comfortable, heating was great this chilly weekend at the end of November, but we ran the shower a little to humidify the room. Housekeeping the next day was excellent, leaving our daughter's bear with a bow on the made beds. Check out was a breeze the final morning, as all I got was the receipt for dinner ... $55.00 before tip for two adults, incl. cocktails & a bottle of excellent Malbec.

Short drive from hotel
Check out Bo Jeans' on Broadway, their weekend buffet dinner for $10.50 is terrific: the roast beef & ham are delicious, lots of veggies & country desserts, friendly down-home service & the walls are covered with farming memorabilia and antiques for sale. Seasonally, their seafood buffet is worth the additional charge, but we passed on this early winter visit. Their King Crab legs are fabulous!

Best Western Kelly Inn
The first room smelled like a sewer- we had to move- the hot tub wasn't working- which is the reason we rented the place-the light in the bathroom didn't work either.DISCUSTING!! It was not worth the money for that room- we won't come back again

Price
Hotel price was quoted to a guest over the phone that was less then what we paid. Told guest that was the last room available which they booked. That occured twice and room were booked by callers.

out of the rain oasis
We visited friends who were camping, so we were quite far from them! We asked for more pillows, but were'nt able to get any! Similar, however we usually don't stay in $110 + room so I guess we expected more!

Short drive from hotel
We were a very short drive from local fireworks which were great! About 15 minutes drive from Lewis and Clark recreations/Dam. Groceries were a bit out of the way...

Our stay in Yankton
This was our first time in Yankton and we plan to stay at Kelly Inn again when we come. We did notice an empty pop bottle under the dresser and the blanket under the comforter on one of the beds was dirty. Other than that the facilities were adequate. Good exercise room and wonderful pool and loved the complimentary breakfast.

the best part of the trip
Although this Best western is an older property it is well maintained and customer friendly.
