Close to University of South Dakota
This is a hotel in need of some major updating. For the price, you are getting a decent place to crash that is close to the University of South Dakota. The room and hotel look a little shady as it is outdated but nonetheless, it has decent beds, warm water, continental breakfast, cable tv, a fridge and microwave in the room, and is pretty quiet. I will stay at this hotel again as the location is great near campus.

Old and tired
Old and tired...in desperate need of remodeling. Pathetic breakfast; mediocre staff; questionable clientele; pool not inviting. Best part is the restaurant next door!

Vermillion, SD Super 8 - stay away
[...]Hotel staff were unresponsive to repeated calls asking them to please quiet the kids running up and down the steps and in the halls between 10pm-midnight. Needless to say, the quiet restful sleep we thought we would get before riding the 88 mile day of the Tour deKota, we didnt get.

Horrible!
went out to dinner for as long as possible, the room and hallway smelled, fridge did not even keep bottle of water cold, bed was very hard, bathroom was 'icky', free breakfast was pitiful

WORST HOTEL EVER!
Horrible. Pictures shown on website are not even pictures of this hotel. Disgusting and very run down. Found garbage on floor of our hotel room. Hot tub was broken and pool area was small, dark, and dingy. Fridge is stuffed into a corner between the bed and the wall and the microwave is sitting on the only table in the room. TINIEST hotel bathroom I've ever seen. Vanity outlet broken so had to unplug the refrigerator for curling iron. Breakfast area was worse than a gas station. Ugh.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!!
I have stayed at many Super 8 motels thoughtout the US and this is by far the worse motel I have stayed at. The pictures are NOT WHAT THE HOTEL IS LIKE!!! They are corporate pics (desk clerk said so herself). The room smelled like strong cleaners, was dirty feeling and old! I found pubic hairs in my bed when I pulled the cover back, ice bucket was nasty, the bathtub was horrible, (the caulk was coming off into the tub and was generally not clean). The pool felt like ice water, the 4 person hot tub felt like boiling water and both were questionable when it comes to sanitary. Outside noise was loud, people running up and down the upstairs hallways most of night. When I woke up at 5:30 am to go to the bathroom, I just left. I had had all I could take!!!! Please, don't stay here!!

Unprofessional
The motel staff were nice, but not trained. Very poor personal and relationship skills. The room itself was in poor repair. Cleanliness was at a minimal level. Even the towels were of questionable quality. The breakfast area was not well kept and the seating was in a major traffic area at the base of the stairway. There was no other outlet.
