Red Roof Inn Sioux Falls

An inexpensive no frills hotel. The location was excellent-safe and only a few minutes from local attractions such as the falls and the zoo. The hotel was clean and quiet. A great value.

First they lost my reservation and wouldn't refund or figure out how to reimburse me for the second room I didn't end up needing/using. The room was severly cramped even with only a queen sized bed (I booked a room with a king and didn't get it) they didn't have a rollaway bed (I booked one of those aswell). The service was terrible and the staff was rude and impolite. They kicked us out after 7 nights even though we had paid for 8, so we had to find another hotel. We chose Townplace Suites by Marriott and for a small amount more per night they are 10 times better than the Red Roof Inn.

Everything was just fine, just one suggestion that I would make is that the edges along baseboard carpets in room and in halls could use a sweeper attachment used on them. It would make a big difference. But nice anyways.

Everything was nice and in order. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Orbits overbooked our room and the Red Roof Staff went the extra mile to make accommodations for us. Not only that, the night clerk put forth a splendid effort in locating a specific type of entertainment, going out of her way in doing so. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is a bit tricky but worth the effort and is in close proximity to a movie theater, right next door, and to restaurants and the mall, all within a few minutes.

Although I spent very little time in the room, it was a pleasant stay. The staff members were very accommodating and hospitable. The only drawback I could find about the room was that the heat was extremely hard to control. It was either way too hot or not warm enough. No happy medium. But, the next time I go to visit my daughter, I will very likely patronize the Red Roof Inn again.

Visiting family and really only needed a place to sleep and shower. This was great value for the price. Clean and good location.

I stayed in this hotel for a night with my family on my way back from Mount Rush more. It was a very good stay and I would like to stay in this hotel again.

From the moment I pulled into the parking lot, I had a bad feeling. The place did not look well kept at all, several shirtless foul mouthed road crew workers were standing out front smoking. I went in, and the lady working the desk was very rude and curt. She told me I reserved a smoking room. When I told her that I had in fact asked for a non-smoking room, she told me I was out of luck because there were no other rooms available, and I could either take the smoking room, or go elsewhere. So I took it, not wanting to go hotel hunting at 9 pm at night.I got to my room, and it stunk of cigarette smoke, as if they made absolutely no attempt to freshen the room at all. The comforter had obviously not been washed, and I tossed it aside. When I tried to adjust the A/C unit, it was sticky with tar residue from smokers' cigarettes. The shower was ok, although the bathroom was very small. the desk was ok too, but half the lights in the room were not working, either to bad bulbs or faulty wiring. The walls were paper thin, and 2 rooms down had dogs in their room that barked on and off through the night. The continental breakfast didn't start until 7 AM, so I was not even able to take advantage of that, and had to go across the road to IHOP instead.

A good value and pet-friendly. Rooms have been recently remodeled so although appears to be an older building there have been some updates. The hotel is pet-friendly and good location off the interstate. Many kids were running around which I assume due to the low price, it attracts many families. Free breakfast although very basic. Had a small issue with being charged by both [...]and the hotel but with a quick call to the hotel it was resovled immediately. For a quick overnight stay, I would recommend.
