Fairfield Inn by Marriott Sioux Falls

Friendly staff, quiet rooms, complimentary breakfast, and a pool and sauna -- not much more you could ask for! Would be nice to have an ice machine and soda machine on every floor...and the room was a bit pricy compared to other hotels/motels in the area, but that doesn't deter from the overall good experience we had here. In fact, when we were looking for a hotel on the way back from our trip, we bypassed others and stayed here for a second time within the same week.

The hotel was nice with a great pool. The room was fine though the bathroom is a little small for 2 people to use at once.

Just traveling through and met all our simple needs. The kids enjoyed the pool; there were plenty of restaurant choices nearby.

Hotel is adjacent to the Empire Mall, but how to get to it was a little hard to figure out. It was good that it had plenty of electrical outlets. The bathroom had space for only one person at a time. It would be impossible for a family to get everyone ready to go quickly.

The room was nice, the location is very convenient to everything Sioux Falls has to offer. The staff was friendly, and happy to help with directions. However -- the room was supposed to be non-smoking, and yet their housekeeping staff goes in the stairwell next to the room and smokes, which causes periodic smoke to infiltrate the room. What is wrong with hotels? Non-smoking rooms don't mean housekeeping staff should smoke standing at the doors in the stairwells. Management should take steps to remedy this ASAP. Otherwise, recommend as a nice place to stay.

The Fairfield Inn in Sioux Falls, SD was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Great location, very close to all the activities. I will be staying there again on my next trip!

I found the hotel to be comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and always had a smile on their face. The free breakfast was a bit on the light side but that comes with this chain and was as expected. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is free wireless access (no hard wired so be sure you have wireless on your laptop) and the access speed was reasonable. You could tell when everyone was logged on at night as the connections were a bit slower but not an issue. The room has a rather small desk to work from but I found it had enough room for what I needed. The only caution I would make is to be sure to ask for a room NOT on the side where Interstate 29 is located. Without the fan running all night, the road noise would have been very hard to deal with. They do have double glass to help minimize the noise but it is still there. There is a nice restaurant near by called Texas Roadhouse and the food there was good. A lot of noise and energy (they really whoop it up for a birthday...wow) but that makes it a bit more fun. There are many other chain restaurants in the area of you are looking for other types of food. I would stay here again should I have reason to visit Sioux Falls. Oh, one last thing, EVERYONE in Sioux Falls is so friendly and nice.
