A great motel with an awful lot of noise when it is time to sleep
The motel was clean with lots of nice amenities and in a good location. When it was time for bed the bedding was clean the bed was comfortable but the music from the bar downstairs was too loud playing until 1:00. Sure for those who want that it may have been very enjoyable but for those of us wanting to sleep it was hard. I would not stay here again unless there was no live music playing at the bar.

Breath of fresh air after spending a night at the holiday inn
I had a horrible night the previous night staying at the Holiday Inn City Center, bad service, rude people...however, the folks at the Country Inn were so nice and answered all of my questions, they had my reservation from orbitz all ready. The room was clean and smelled good, and we had a nice view of the river! The free breakfast was excellent as well. I won't book anywhere else if I ever need to stay in Sioux Falls again.

Perfect in every way!
It was perfect. Receptionist was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Beds and pillows were soft and fluffy. But, best of all, we parked the Trail Blazer and walked to church, walked to dinner and walked to the Orpheum! Easy access from the highway. Perfect 'Get Away!" Thanks [...]for making it affordable!

Dogsitter
Rude staff, but great Breakfast!
We were dog sitting for a friend of ours and picked this hotel due to the low rate for pets. The staff was rude and not helpful at all. The room was okay, and the beds were comfy. Breakfast was spectacular and the attendant making it was too! I would say this hotel needs a little staff development for the desk clerks in the area of friendliness and customer service.

The Falls Landing bar was a lot of fun
The hotel staff is friendly, close to downtown. The Falls Landing bar was a lot of fun, good food. Will stay there again.

Great stay in South Dakota!
I am impressed. I didn't realize it was on the river. Beautiful view from our room. Also, outdoor dining, drinks right below the room. Lots of places to walk and see downtown. If I need to be in Sioux Falls again, this is the place to go.

Short walk from hotel
If you are a beer lover, try Monk's http://www.monkshouseofalerepute.com/ right around the corner. 20 Beers that most people have never heard of on tap. This is not a place to drink a Miller Lite, you can really be adventurous. Very nice atmosphere, amazing prices.

Good location
The hotel is in a great location and accepted pets, which was convenient. Our room was clean. The hotel was very noisy; we could hear people walking around upstairs and in the hallway, and the plumbing was very loud.
