Pool / Rec area nice and breakfast was good. Staff just ok to slightly off on occasion. Rooms could use some updating.

Never again
No heat on because unseasonably warm. Either all hotel on heat or on air condition. Cold at night. No heat, they brought a tiny heater to our room. They Didn't get my room cleaned on second night cause they thought we were leaving. Told them we probably stay longer and they did not call me to re-register. So no reason to clean the room Second day it's almost 2pm and room still dirty. Staff said they would do ASAP and still nothing. Walls very thin. Teen girls came in after midnight yelling, laughing, slamming doors. Terrible experience. Do not recommend

Great place to relax
After a long day in two different flights, the Ramada was a welcome relief with clean rooms, nicely furnished, with a micro/frig and a lovely pool setting too. We were delighted with the complimentary breakfast which began early enough for us to get on our way to see the local sites like the mountain sculptures of President's faces and Crazy Horse, as well as the Badlands and Deadwood!

Great for children!
Very well located, near to a Mall and good restaurants. The best part of the hotel was the indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi right at the hotel entrance. The breakfast food was average and the mattresses needed to be changed. Besides that, my children had a blast at this hotel! I highly recommend it!!!

Only has a nice pool
Horrible experience. Requested a hideway bed from and did not get one. Staff was clueless. Twice went and asked for the bed and they admitted it was their mistake told me they may have one at 9:00PM and then never called me back. This is not to mention the dirty walls and 1970s decor in the room. Would avoid. Do not get sucked in by the photos of the pool.

Reception staff rude and not helpful
Stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. Didn't realize the time zone difference and ended up reaching 1 hour earlier. The early checkin request was rudely denied at the reception and staff mentioned that checkin will start @3pm only. First we waited with our small kid for about 1hr. When checked at reception again @3pm, got a shocking response that no clean room is available and they don’t know when it will be available. Tried to speak to the supervisor but no-one was available. Staff was still rude with no apology whatsoever. Finally after some arguments, room was made ready 30-45mins after 3pm. This ruined the whole experience even though the hotel location and room was okay.

Painful
Arrived for check-in at 7 p.m. and was told there would be a 30-45 minute wait to do so. Rooms from the previous night were still not cleaned. Had requested an upper floor for quiet and received a noisy first floor room. Staff smiled but seemed oblivious. The room was hot and no AC was available; supposedly too early in the year to turn it on (this is an older motel). Fan would only blow additional heat into room so door to outside was left open for a half hour for breeze and cooling. Toilet was broken and alarm clock did not work. Pillows available were half size. Left at 6 am to hit the road. Just wanted to be away from there. Total cost $108.

Upgrades needed
The water heater worked sporadically (tepid shower anyone?), the room door allowed a constant flow of cold air in and the thermostat must not have been connected as it seemed to have no effect on the actual air temperature from the "heater", good thing it was in the 50s or we'd have frostbite. The decor was worn and dated, the door lock and towel rack were falling off (glad I had my Swiss army knife). Lobby was impressive but not much else.
