Room was very roomy and comfortable. However, it overlooked the roof and outside noises could be heard at night, plus ... sometimes other guests. Breakfast isn't that great (comparing to breakfast provided at Hampton Inn which provides hot, cooked food, something different every morning as well as bagels, cereal, muffins, etc.) unless you love waffles. Also, breakfast could have been served longer than 3 hours.

New hotel, noisy room

Hotel was new. The price was high, but it was during the Sturgis rally and all rooms are high. My room had a squeal in it. I ... thought it was the elevator, but never did figure it out. Desk clerk was not very interested in my observations about this. Good breakfast. Overall a good place, but if your room is noisy make it known right away. (I waited until check-put so I didn't give them a fair chance to move me).

The hotel was fine but not exactly what we were looking for, off the beaten path. The staff seemed distant and not ... exceptionally friendly. The pool area was very nice. There were no nearby restaurants. Would not stay again.

The Howard Johnson was an excellent place to stay. I would recommend it. Eating places are close by and it is close to ... downtown, shopping ect. Very clean hotel and very comfortable. I really liked it.

This Howard Johnson Express was exactly what our family needed for a holiday gathering. While I had a handicapped room, it ... was available for the lowest rate so I took it. Usually I have allergic reactions to cleaning supplies, etc., but this did not happen at the HoJo property. Either the chemicals were not super fragranced or it was super clean. I would gladly stay here again and so would my family.
