Well located, clean, comfortable, has a pool and a fitness center, they allow pets. Good deal for the price.

Average hotel~ but bed was good pillow is prepared hard and soft that was good.

My family and I were in town for a wedding and sight seeing. I stayed six nights at the hotel with my mom and my niece. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was good, pretty standard stuff, but plentiful and the morning staff worked very hard to keep every dish full. I did find the rooms somewhat noisy with plumbing noises and footsteps above. I bought a fan for white noise which helped. The hotel was mostly families so it quieted down pretty early. Here is the spoiler: the last night my niece and I finally had time to go the pool/hot tub. The hot tub was fine, but we found feces in the pool. (Don't ask how, but I am sure it was [*].) We immediately got out, and I informed management on our way back to our rooms to shower. Much to my surprise when we returned from dinner an hour later, the pool was still open. I would have thought there would be a protocol to clean and shock a pool before letting others swim. So my review is a bit of a mixed bag, and I am not swimming in hotel pool again anytime soon. And the lack of appropriate response from the staff is the only reason I would not recommend this hotel. Accidents happen, but clean it up and protect your guests!

The hotel was very clean and updated. Easy to reach from the highway. Only one bump along the way...after returning from a 10 hour bus tour of the parks and sites, one of our two rooms had not yet been cleaned. That was a disappointment! When asked they simply said they were shorthanded that day...several others were waiting in the lobby area also.Would have been nice to have been offered something for the inconvenience...like a coupon toward next stay,or some other small token etc. Breakfast was good. I would recommend.

Clean hotel, close to area attractions. Pool was nice and staff was friendly. The breakfast area served good food, but was very crowded. If you get there later than 9:00am expect that most of the food will be gone.

We liked the spaciousness of an ordinary room, not an upgrade. Good beds and bedding. We have already booked a stay at another location.

Our stay was average until the last day we were there and it was obvious that someone had entered our room and stolen money and gifts. When I reported the theft to the front desk the evening manager was rude and had a "so what" kind of attitude. When I checked out the next day I reported it to the man at the front desk and he showed more concern about the theft. The room had to be entered with a pass key and yet the items were stolen but the room was never made up. (Perhaps the housekeeper had a reason to not want to be in there?) The rooms DO NOT have the small safes that most hotels have and although the nasty manager told me about safe deposit boxes when I reported the stolen items, one was not offered to us at check-in. I was very glad to be leaving the next day as there was no sense of security and sleep was pretty much out of the question the last night there.

Check in personnel were extremely helpful with suggestions on 'What to see'. One of the suggestions 'Bear Country USA' was one of the highlights of the trip.

we were in the rapid city region to see the sights for a much over due family getaway, the hotel was exactly what i was expecting, the rooms were fresh, clean, the staff was friendly and the location was in a great spot. although we were only there to sleep and keep our stuff we still want something nice to return to. the breakfast in the morning was very good too, with my family that is easily a $40 bill in itself.check in was a breeze and checkout was just as easy[...]. if we are ever in the area again, i would absolutely stay here again.
