Nice water slide, room OK
Indoor Pool with water slide great for kids and large indoor pation area with lots of tables/chairs. Location is good, close to attractions and food. Room and hallway smelled smokey, probably use to be smoking rooms but could not get smell out of upholstry after making hotel all non-smoking.

Would not say "Grand"
The hotel was fine, but needs a few updates. No wifi in rooms, no fridge or microwave in rooms, no breakfast included...these all tend to be fairly standard these days. Especially when the destination of Rapid City is one for tourists who travel with coolers and need a place to keep items cold. Definitely not the picture they portray in the website ads. The hot tub is a joke. Luckily we were so busy with activities that we were barely at the hotel. It is pretty centrally located to the activites we wanted to do. We stayed at two other hotels on this entire trip and this one was our least favorite. One highlight in the room was the shower head. I know it sounds funny, but it was really great! Kind of sad, when the best thing I can say is the hotel has great shower heads!

Very Good Accomidations.
A good experience. Stay was very short as the purpose was to save time in getting family to an early flight without a long drive before and another after their flight left. Arrived about 6PM, ate dinner, slept and up at 3AM to get to the airport.

Family Vacation
Refrigerators in room would have been nice. Was nice for the children to have internet to keep in touch with friends back home. Pool was great. Lounge was nice and clean.

Nothing special
Could use some updating but room was large and clean. [...] Saw a water slide from the lobby but did not use. Perkins next door so no free breakfast.

Minutes from Mt Rushmore Rd. Bear Country USA is a must. Our 8 yr old son loved seeing the animals. Had up close time with lots of bears.

Loved the pool, especially the slide. Staff was very friendly. Our room had a funny smell, and we thought for the price should have included a complementary b-fast. Room could use some updates

expensive for the service given
We had no Idea we had to BUY breakfast so got up ans went to get breakfast but were told we didnt pay for it, this needs to be made more aware to customers, the price we paid one would never believe no breakfast was included,

disappointed
the room seemed old and tired as did the hallway. the sheets were scratchy. what caused us to feel like we were itching? was it the sheets? how do they wash them? the next morning, 2 of us had sinus headaches. is there a mold or dust mite problem with the room? having perkins next door is a plus. nice service there.
