Family getaway
It was a great location. Access to the water park was fine. Would of liked to have access to the hot tub after 9pm before 9pm kids from the water park would invade and use the jets to spray. The breakfast bar was well stocked at all times. Lots of choices. There was easy access to Mt Rushmore and all other activities.

Nice break for the long distance drivers
Rolling in at 11:00 at night is sometimes a challenge. The staff was outstanding, helpful and everyone of the five people that I talked with was polite and glad to to be there. A very good breakfast.

Weekend away from the kids!!
We came to Rapid to do a little Christmas shopping and time away from the kids for the two of us to spend time together and relax for a bit. Was good time and staff was great. We ate at Sliders Bar and Grill....food was awesome and bartenders were very good. One suggestion, was pretty drafty or chilly sitting there....not sure if the heat is on due to the weather not being cold enough. Overall, really nice time and look forward to it again and MAYBE bring the kids to the waterpark when the new addition is added on!!

OK for one nite
Stayed for one night while on road trip. Staff was the highlight, courteous and friendly. Got special rate and subpar room. Freight train tracks literally sixty to seventy feet in back of property where our room was. Several times during night, major trains barreled thru! Hotel attached to water park. Great for kids, not so great for chlorine odor. But we were so tired, very little phased us. General thought: you get what you pay for.

great family hotel
I was only in town for work, so i wasn't in the room much, but from the time i was there it was everything you'd expect from a hotel. Was clean and quiet. Staff was very helpful. Waterpark looked great for kids to enjoy.

Great Fun, Mostly Great Space
We decided at this hotel mainly because of the waterpark and restaurant features. The beds were great and the experience was an awesome one. We were a bit disappointed in the lack of a refrig and micro in our room. We stayed a in a basic 2 queen room and I guess the appliances are only found in the king rooms or suites? Also, for the price the bathroom and other room decor--minus the very large TV--were average. The breakfast was also very basic with all waffles as a hot option. However, the beds were AMAZINGLY comfy.
