Quality service meets supremely convenient locale, right off I-90
Located just off Exit 59 of Interstate 90, Days Inn Rapid City earns high marks in the convenience department. Restaurants, movie theaters and the largest shopping mall in the region are within about a half-mile radius of the hotel, and notable neighbors include Pirates Cove Adventure Golf and a Walmart Supercenter. The on-site conveniences warrant recognition, too: coin-operated laundry facilities, an indoor pool and fitness center, resourceful staffers and a vigilante housekeeping crew. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and clean.

Amazing value with a great location!
We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel and would have given it a five-star rating (and I am a very picky traveler) if not for one thing: the thermostat on the shower in our room! It was very unpredictable and varied from very cold to very hot within seconds. Other than that, this was a fabulous value. The rooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable, the furnishings up to date and clean. The continental breakfasts were great and the hotel was also very clean throughout. We would definitely stay here again, although probably not in that same room! The location is very near to the mall and right off I-90 (but not where you will hear the traffic).

Grumpy
The Great Ride
We went to ride our motorcycles all day for 8 days and were very tired when we arrived back at our room. The room was always clean, the breakfast good and staff very friendly. The pool and hot tub were a great way to end our days. Top notch facility in every way. Would stay there again.

There are all kinds of commercial business from fast food to fine dining, grocery stores to department type stores. Just about everything you would want, you could find quick and easy.

TLC mother of 5 boys
Family Friendly for large family.
Within walking distance from a Pirate Golf miniature golf, Walmart, and many restaurants. No elevator, but the fact that there were enough beds for my husband and I and our 4 children made up for that.

A decent place for the price
The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. They were helpful in finding local hot spots, food, and entertainment. The rooms were to be expected for the price. Nothing particularly great, nothing horrible. The walls don't have much insulation so everything in the hallway could be heard at night. However, it wasn't horrible. Overall, it was a good stay. Clean, friendly, and a good deal.

Great Hotel !
Great Day's Inn. Very clean and nice complementary breakfast (french toast to heat in microwave and belgum waffles you can make). Our room was cleaned very well, each day. We stayed for 6 nights. Everything is so easy to get to (off of I-90) We went to Mt. Rushmore, Custer State park where we saw Buffalo, Antelope and fed the donkeys that come up to your car window ! We also went to the Crazy Horse Memorial, 1850's town and Deadwood (the Actor's as Wild Bill Hickock, etc. were funny). We took a trip to Wyoming to Devils tower. The scenery is beautiful especially in Wyoming with the red rock hills. It was a great trip !

There are several restaurants near the hotel. Very convenient. In Rapid City the Firehouse restaurant is good. They have a lot of bar type restaurants. There's also a bistro and a Delmonico Steak restaurant that are pricier.

Nice Visit
We did a lot of sightseeing so we mostly just ate and slept at the hotel. We enjoyed the continental breakfast - the fresh waffles especially. The room was clean when we got there. The hotel is located conveniently to other things in Rapid City and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
