Best Value Inn
The hotel indicated that they offered WiFi Internet connection, but it was more like dail-up service and the laundry room was not explained well as to the location. I used the laundry room once and that was upon departure, if you have more then four pairs of jeans I would not recomment using it. My clothes was still soaked at the end of the cycle in a full sized washer and it took coins equal to three loads to get them semi dry (or at least dry enough that they did not mildew on the trip home. I spoke to the front desk and the attendant was of no help with rectifying the internet connection. Althought the desk staff was courtious I did not feel that what was advertise was what the facility truely offered.

The Rapid City Mall is just across the street from the hotel, but during my stay I noticed that many of the stores were closed for business.

I would avoid this hotel!
The hotel is old and dirty and the room was gross...very small room with a very small bathroom. We just got this room so we could catch the early flight out of RC but I wouldn't stay here again. All I can say is YUCK! I would give it a -0 if I could.

One time only
The hotel was ok, but certainly not worth the price. For $30 more, I could have stayed at a Hampton inn with immaculate rooms.

It was nice
Of course the smoking rooms have a certain oder when you walk in. A little febreeze fixed that. I always carry Febreeze! The wireless internet didn't work in our room which was the furthest from the front desk, maybe they could use a more powerful router to get to all the rooms on the second floor. The sitting chair was very worn, few stains on carpet, the bathroom was very clean, and the kingsize bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good too.

Good For Rally
We used the room as a place to sleep and shower between riding the Black Hills,Bad Lands, and visiting Sturgis area during the rally. Good price for a basic motel in a good location. They provide supplies for washing the bike. Good access to restaurants.

The Best Value Inn was comfortable, reasonably priced and was centrally located to all the locations we wanted to visit. I made a good home base.
