Super 8 Pierre SD

Hi, This room was for my son who was working construction in the area. They finished the job early and only stayed 2 nights. After reviewing my bank statement I was billed for 4. How do I get a refund. Thanks, Betty

Reserved this room for a friend of mine. Pierre is a very small town. It was snowing on April 23. Friend was not able to find heating controls in room temp outside was 15 degrees

We chose this hotel because our daughters team was staying here on a school sanctioned event and they were potentially going to need help chaperoning kids. We arrived quite late, checked in and went to the room. A strong funky smell greeted us. It was not smoke and it was not coming from the bathroom but the area just outside the bathroom. Too tired to go argue about moving (my suspicion is we would find this in other rooms) we opened the window, turned on the bath fan and the wall heater and went to bed. The carpets should not be walked on in bare feet, The electrical outlets were nightmarishly overloaded and my flip flops literally stuck to the bathroom tile. The breakfast was well done but we never did figure out what the smell was!

This is really a perfect place for your pheasant hunting group. Breakfast is really good. Rooms and locations work very well for hunting the Pierre area for pheasants.

for the price it was a good deal. free continental breakfast was enjoyable.

It was cheap. Very basic as expected. However our A/C unit was letting off an awful smell everytime we ran it. Tub stopper never kept water so I could bath my kids. Small towels but alot of them. Shampoo only and hand soap bar dried my hands out. The room with 2 queens barely was wide enough to put the 2 queens and a packnplay between! The staff seemed super nice and willing to get us whatever we needed...towels, iron and ironing board, and direct us to nearest food, playgrounds, etc. My daughter ended up hugging one of the clerks after our 3 day stay. Continental breakfast was average...waffles, mini muffins, bagels, toast, cereal, coffee, orange juice, milk, bananas (wish they had more fruit variety), biscuits & gravy. Nothing fabulous. It was overall fairly clean but I still was glad I had my own pillow and blanket and wore shoes the whole time. Had lots of brochures of things to do around town and in surrounding areas and newspapers (up to date). Probably would try another place in town again before I stayed there again. However there is a Hardee's, Subway, McDonalds, Walgreens, Pizza Hut (delivers to hotel), Arbys, Napa Autoparts, and park all within walking distance. So We were well taken care of with these near by.

Nice motel 8, very clean room. Ok place to stay for just one night. Friendly staff.

I was located near an ice machine & was icing rotator cuff surgery, so that was the beswt part.

We had a good night and really appreciated the hot breakfast bar!

We were pleased with our experience. Everything was in order and we were treated well. We have stayed there before and would do so again.
