Pierre Inn and Suites is centrally located in the Capitol city of South Dakota. This attractive and well appointed facility is within walking distance to many of the finest restaurants Pierre has to offer. The motel is only 4 blocks from both the downtown central shopping district and State Capitol building. We know you will enjoy our clean spacious rooms and Suites. Microwaves, refrigerators and recliners will help enhance your comfortable stay. Solidly constructed these rooms will afford you a quiet peaceful place to enjoy your outdoor vacation or business venture. Meet family or friends and make our facility your -home- on the road. Pierre Inn and Suites is one of the very few in town to offer its guests access to a fish and game cleaning facility which is located directly on the property. Hunters and fishermen have for many years enjoyed the convenience of this very clean and up to date free-standing building. Spend a day in the field, or on the beautiful Missouri river and then bring your catch home to clean. Freezing and packing of your prey is no problem as all packaging materials and storage space is provided to our guests at no additional charge. We will make available access to any of a number of local shipping agents to help transport your game anywhere in the world. Front desk is open from 7 am to midnight.

Yikes

The price was very reasonable but this is an OLD motel.It was definately not a place you would want to stay to be COMFORTABLE... The mattresses were very hard and the sheets were ill-fitting so that they slipped off the mattress while you tossed and turned because your back was hurting. The AC unit that was haphazardly installed allowed a great deal of very cold air into the room from underneath it. (My stay was NOT in summer and this actric blast was unwelcome and uncontrollable.) The dresser looked as though somebodys dog had been chewing on it...My two stars are for the friendly staff. Everybody who I spoke to was very kind. This motel might be ok if you are simply looking for a place to crash for a few hours and maybe bring your hunting dog along... It just isnt comfy and everything is so old and so worn that despite what Im sure have been the best efforts its just not a pleasant place.

For a good meal try The View 34. Upstairs is fine dining and downstairs is a cool pub. food and service is great in both.

Not bad for the price

This isn't a bad place to stay for the price. It is very rough around the edges, but for the most part was fine for sleeping.
