Very nice place

The lady at reception was nice and efficient and changed us from our reserved 2-bedroom to 1-bedroom ( at our request) without batting an eye. The room was comfortable and roomy and cool when the temperature outdoors was almost 100 degrees and humid. The only slight negative was the railroad traffic rumbling by about 200 yards from our door. The motel is just a few hundred yards north of the highway bridge across the Missouri River.

Country Kitchen is not far from the Capitol building, and is a nice place. Jake's is also a good spot to eat.

hockey weekend

We enjoyed our stay during our grandson's hockey game. The room was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the pool after the games. We ate breakfast before heading out for more games and it was very good and the service was wonderful--even pulled up extra chairs for the unexpected friends that joined us. We will be sure to stay there again when we are in Pierre!

Crabby Service

Beautiful landscaping, right on Missouri River. The hotel room was average: no readily-noticeable dirt, decent pillows, average mattress, coffeemaker, old TV, internet. No elevators. Service at front desk was smile-less at all times, host in restaurant was a snippy drama queen who wanted to blame everyone and everything else for his poor service and attitude. Bartenders and waitresses were without complaint, but nothing special. If it weren't for the conference I was attending being held at this hotel, I wouldn't return.

Nice Hotel

We went around the Oahe Days. So it was little busy. Overall room was comfortable. We liked the bed linens. There is a walking trail nearby. I wish there was breakfast like Comfort Inn which is few block way.

excellent stay

I attended a State Softball meeting, I had a great time at the meeting rooms, resturant and the lounge. The room that I recieved was great!!!

The View is the name of the dining facility we went to accross town. It was worth going to wind-down after a day of meetings
