Not the best experience!
Close to Mount Rushmore. Very small lobby for free breakfast. So crowded we did not eat. My husband did not tell me until we were in the car about bugs on towels and in tub! It was a last minute trip and very busy with the Sturgis bike rally.

It was okay.
The staff here was absolutely great. However, we experienced a few glitches while staying. We stayed during one of the hottest weekends and the ice machine was unable to keep up with the demand I'm guessing as we couldn't hardly get any ice out of it. The room was okay, bathroom was a little small but got the job done. Unfortunately, we found a wasp in our room (which was not ideal) and the supplied hair dryer did not work. Also noticed that the hot tub was not open for business.

Excellent location!
We were here for two nights. Our visit centered around Mt Rushmore but loved the travel in the area- Needles Highway, Custer Park, and the wildlife loop! Very enjoyable time- loved the lighting of the mountain especially the tribute to veterans and the great overall patriotic evening! Our hotel was in the best of placings to enjoy each of these.

Family vacation
The room smelled, no refrigerator, breakfast was just few items but not hot items. Parking was not enough spaces for guests cars. Not really interested with the stay.
