Good location slightly out of

Good location slightly out of the main part of Keystone but hardly an issue as Mt Rushmore is only 2-3 miles away..friendly folks at the front desk and very helpful.

Sardine Box

This was the smallest hotel room to get into the bed. When the couch bed was pulled out into the twin bed, there was barely enough room to slide by and get to the tiny bathroom. This room should have one single bed. Only one person can fit comfortably. It was NOT budget priced at over a 100 per night...we stayed in New York City near Times Square in a nice hotel for less than we paid at this place. The breakfast area was equally small and crowded. The only upside was the close proximity to Mt. Rushmore. Next time we'll stay further away and get a decent hotel.

Good hotel in a quiet part of town

We are history and antique buffs. Halleys emporium/ bar around the corner was like a big indoor yard sale with junk and treasures depending on your interest. Good place to get a cold one. Hotel was at the edge of town so the traffic and bubble gum glitz were a short drive. Peaceful sleep even with the window open.

Lighting at Mt. Rushmore with an orchestra playing was very cool. You will want to park as close to the exits as possible or tail gate for an hour after things end.

Average adequate place

Avereage, adequate facilities for overnight stay. Breakfast was skimpy and not well organized. Plan your activities away from the hotel and use hotel only to sleep. It is too far away from all the real attractions

Econo Lodge Review

Hotel is in a great location and was reasonably priced considering the location and height of vacation season. However, still EXPENSIVE for a small room and not that quiet. Staff was courteous and helpful.

A Bit Over Priced.....

I found the hotel to be adequate, but felt it was overpriced for the condition and ammenities offered at the hotel. All it all, however; it was a comfortable stay.
