Usa Stay Hotel Suites

We arrived at about 5pm was on the road early the next day. Everything was fine

We checked into our room at approximately 3:30 pm. The room looked nice, but within 5 minutes we discovered the Air Conditioner didn't work. The staff were very nice when we checked in, but we decided to leave since our room was hot. On the way out I was going to talk to the front desk, but there was a line of 3 people there. I called the front desk while we were out sight seeing. The first time I got voicemail. The second time I explained the problem, and the staff member said that she would check into it and get back with me. She called me back at dinner, and said they could switch us rooms. We didn't get back to our room until 9:30 and none of our party wanted to change rooms because of the trouble. I talked to the staff upon arriving back to see if they would give us a discount on our room. She told me I would need to talk to Adam the next morning, but she was sure he could give us a discount. I talked to Adam the next day and he said that since I booked this room thru Orbitz that it was a single use charge to my credit card and he could not give any kind of a refund. The reason he gave was specifically because we booked the room thru Orbitz. If this is true, I almost never want to book thru Orbitz again. If I can't get any sort of a discount because they were not able to provide an adequate room. Please let me know what you think I should have done in this case.

staff was friendly and helpful. We arrived late and one of the rooms we booked was on 2nd flr. With the rest on 3rd, front desk was able to find a room on 3rd instead.

This is the place to be if you are looking for awesome care. We had an unexpected injury after our reservations were made and they treated us perfectly. Instead of the suite we reserved, they upgraded us and gave us two adjacent handicap rooms...one at no charge. They really are all about making your stay perfect. I can't say enough about the staff at Hot Springs USA Stays hotel and suites. Perfect! I will stay again.

New hotel, clean rooms, friendly service persons and wonderful prices. We'd stay there again.

Was confortable

The hotel looks new from the outside, but only sort of new in the rooms themselves. The first room I was given the A/C did not work. I was promptly given a new room without any trouble. The A/C worked fine. Each room had a sort of hard to place smell. I don't know if it is the laundry detergent or what. It was faint, and marginally unpleasant, and not something you were able to smell after being in the room for a few minutes. The place was well lit and it seemed to be a safe area. The pool was closed for my entire stay. I booked this room through [...]and it was a good price for the hotels in the area. When I arrived they had a special going for about half of the price. Next time I will likely call the hotel first to take advantage of any specials.
